ilano oak is the new wood finish optionally available at no extra charge. In an attractive
light tone, it conjures up a natural but distinctive

Technical details
PUAL construction
PUAL method of construction in the
Hymer-Feeling, Hymer-Living, HymerNova and Hymer-Nova S models. The
excellent insulation of the walls, roofs
and floors is also documented by the
top rating given in the "Camping, Cars
und Caravans" (April 06) journal with
the evaluation "Good heating - high
insulation values".
The excellent insulation of the PU foam
means pleasantly cool temperatures in
the summer and cosy warmth in the
winter inside "your HYMER". You save
energy and can load more weight thanks
to the stable bodywork. On top of that,
the material is UV resistant, winter-proof,
easy-to-clean and, thanks to its good
ingress-proof characteristics, it keeps all
the water out.
Thanks to the PUAL method of construction with its closed-pore PU foam, HYMER
vehicles are ingress-proof and stay that
way!
Most wall-roof joints are no longer screwed
nowadays. Bonding technology is used, as
is standard practice in aircraft construction. The use of bonding technology
from HYMER means that your caravan
will give you especially long service and
it will hold its value extremely well.

Double awning rails. The double
awning rail of the Hymer-Feeling,
Hymer-Nova and Hymer-Nova S means
spike holders no longer have to be
screwed into the side wall but can be
slid in the awning rail as needed.
Added safety with AL-KO Trailer Control
(optional extra). AL-KO ATC intervenes
if the speed critical for fishtailing is
reached and the system applies the
brakes. It is comparable with ESP
familiar from the automotive sector.
Added safety with AL-KO AKS. To
safeguard against reaching the critical
speed range.
The AKS safety coupling enables higher
speed. The critical speed range is raised
by about 20%.
Quality-finished furniture. Masterfully
crafted with artistry and carefully honed
right down to the details. The furniture is
glued, screwed and dowelled. This sophisticated method of furniture construction
ensures maximum stability, has a long life
and withstands higher weights.
Innerspring mattresses. The innerspring
mattresses (optional extra in some cases)
in the fixed beds ensure restful, healthy
sleep. They give the body ideal support
and are provided with a removable
cover.
Innovative air conditioning system
(Hymer-Nova S).
On the basis of the Truma Saphir Comfort
air conditioning unit, HYMER has
achieved a uniform and draught-free
distribution of cool air by upper, linear
slotted outlets.
The multi-functional entrance door.
Inside dimension 530 mm. It has
elaborate panelling inside and cleverly
devised compartments to store paraphernalia. Further special features are
the integrated coat rack and upper part
of the door which opens separately.
Pop-top. When it's lowered you have
all the advantages of reduced height,
enhancing the aerodynamic characteristics, and when opened it increases the
headroom. Opening the airing system
ensures a good supply of fresh air.
Road-handling. The Hymer-Feeling has
excellent road-holding characteristics
and very good directional stability. This
is guaranteed by the low chassis, which
ensures adequate ground clearance and
the low centre of gravity which goes
hand-in-hand with it.

This lightweight, self-supporting
structure has an aluminium outer skin
with stoved enamel coating and a
GRP roof moulding. Thanks to the low
overall height of 1.98 m to 2.20 m, the
majority of the Touring models are of
garaging dimensions.

The fabric combinations are key
features in your interior design.
The wealth of upholstery fabrics
available enables you to give your
vehicle your personal touch.
The high-quality upholstery cloths are
made of protective, Teflon-treated
fabric and come in a host of attractive
patterns.
Teflon resists oil- and water-based
stains. The Teflon treatment means
your upholstery fabrics look new for
longer, they have good easy-care and
breathing properties, and they're
long-lasting.
Please note: The sleeping areas are
fashioned with a high-quality
jacquard mattress fabric instead of
the upholstery fabrics. It is breathable
and is neutral to go with your bed
linen. Exception: sleeping areas which
are integrated in the living area.

EC Directive:
This brochure comprises the status of the series at the time of
going to press.
Some of the illustrations show optional extras.
The EC Directives 70/156/EEC as amended in 2001/116/EC and
EN 1645-2 mean we have to take leave of the terms "maximum
permitted laden mass" and "unladen weight" we are so familiar
with. But that's not all.
The new terms "technically admissible maximum laden mass" and
"mass of vehicle in running order" also have a different meaning.
"Unladen weight" is no longer just unladen, but relates to the
mass with gas supply, water, etc.. Your advantage is that you now
have a properly defined, pan-European standard of comparison
by which many manufacturers abide.
Technically admissible maximum laden mass means just as much
as maximum permitted laden weight: mass of vehicle in running
order plus load. Mass of vehicle in running order means: weighed
with 100 % filled gas supply, 100 % filled water tank and cable
drum. Please note:
The admissible towable load of the motor car according to your
motor vehicle registration certificate basically relates to the
actual weight of the trailer and not to the maximum admissible
laden mass of the caravan. If, for example, a towable load of
1200 kg is registered in your car papers, you are allowed to tow
a caravan with a higher admissible laden weight, but may load it
only up to 1200 kg maximum plus permitted drawbar load.
Although the content has been checked, printing errors cannot
be excluded.
We reserve the right to modify the equipment or make
improvements to the product in the course of the model year.
