Services
Hanseatischer Versicherungsdienst Eduard Pfeifer GmbH, founded in 1984, handles mostly the insurance
requirements of the transport industry. We attend to renowned transport companies and related businesses
both at home and abroad, especially in the fields of transportation insurance, freight forwarders liability
insurance and other business liability insurances. Of course we also cover the other insurance requirements
of these transport companies and of other customers. Due to the impending special orientation it was
necessary to implement a differentiated operation method.
We are a commercial insurance broker in the sense of § 34 d section 1 GewO (Trade, Commerce and
Industry Regulation Act) with the capacity of an insurance broker.
In our core segment (insurance requirements of the transport industry) together with renowned German
insurance companies we have developed special insurance products with respect to freight forwarders
liability insurance, classic public liability insurance including environmental liability insurance for transport
companies, we perform as providers of products under the lead of these insurance companies, work in these
areas as a special broker with an exclusive status and we are also responsible for the claims settlements.
