MSC FLAMINIA is in German waters
Fact-finding team of CCME in operation
The towing train MSC FLAMINIA is entered in German territorial waters since 6.30 am
this morning. Escorted by the multi-purpose vessel NEUWERK, two vessels of the
German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) and one rescue cruiser the towing train is moving towards the Deep Water Road in the German Bight.
The 17-member fact-finding team of the CCME on board the NEUWERK will board the
container vessel as soon as possible in order to detect further findings of the condition
of the vessel and the cargo. This can take place only at daylight.
On the results of the fact-finding team depends, when the MSC FLAMINIA finally enters
the Jade-Weser-Port.
