Segue em anexo tabela com informação sobre o perfil dos membros nos últimos
cinco anos, com especial ênfase nos anos de 2013-2014.
Conto com sugestões, ideias e comentários que possam contribuir para o contínuo
desenvolvimento e crescimento do nosso capítulo.
Atualmente a categoria de estudantes requer maior atenção, com isso conto com o
suporte de nossos membros em incentivar esse grupo ao membership do capítulo brasileiro
do American College of Physicians.
Uma grande oportunidade para os estudantes conhecer os benefícios do ACP será o
1º Encontro para Estudantes de Medicina do ACP Brazil Chapter no dia 16/08/2014

Dear Dr. Grunspun,
Attached is a membership spreadsheet which outlines changes in your membership over the past five years, with particular emphasis on
the quarterly changes within the 2013-2014 fiscal year (July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014).
As you will see, the Brazil Chapter membership went down by .54% since July 2013. The most significant decline is with your medical
student members.
You may want to re-energize a Membership Committee to help with local recruitment projects. For some ideas and templates for local
initiatives, visit the Recruitment and Retention section of LeaderNet. We realize there are a lot of challenges in terms of recruitment, so
please know we can also help you develop customized recruitment plan for your chapter. I can also send you some Evergreen vignettes
with ideas you could possibly adapt to help increase the membership. I know your Chapter is already working on special recruitment
measures for medical students.
Your chapter membership increased in all other categories which is something to really be proud of!

PS: Keep in mind that these membership counts reflect the overall membership fluctuations within your region each quarter. This includes
newly elected members to each member class and members who moved into your region from another chapter, and it also accounts for
anyone who moved out of your region, as well as members who resigned or passed away.
