Als ehemalige kaiserliche Reichshaupt- und Residenzstadt lebt Wien wie keine andere
Stadt von seiner glanzvollen Geschichte und seinen zahlreichen Pracht- und Prunkbauten. Als traditionsreichstes Bauunternehmen Österreichs ist PORR sehr stolz darauf,

More than any other city, Vienna’s reputation stems from its glittering history as the for­
mer imperial capital and seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as well as from its opulent
buildings. As Austria’s longest established construction company, PORR is extremely

1869 Die Allgemeine österreichische Baugesellschaft wurde am 8. April
1869 an der Wiener Börse notiert und gehört damit zu den ältesten Unternehmen am Wiener Parkett.

1906 The company had been involved in constructing a series of buildings

major epoch in architectural history labelled as Late Historism.

Sowjetkommunismus expandiert das Unternehmen nach Osteuropa. Auf
