DELCOTEX scrims in material composite are used for structural reinforcement of components in modern
automotive applications: They offer added value due to their light weight, high strength and good abrasion
resistance, compared to conventional material concepts.
Scrim fabrics
DELCOTEX scrims serve as reinforcement for injection molded parts as hinges and as splinter protection. For
foams as improvement of abrasion resistance, for nonwovens as improvement of dimensional stability and tensile
strength and for carbon components for improvement of impact behavior.
