Dr. Ronaldo Nascimento de Oliveira

Degree of Licentiate in Chemistry from Federal Rural University of Pernambuco
(1996), master's at Chemistry from Federal University of Pernambuco (2002) and
Ph.D. at Chemistry from Federal University of Pernambuco (2006) with coguardianship period in Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (Advisor:Denis Sinou ).
Currently is Associate Professor at Federal Rural University of Pernambuco and
has experience in Chemistry, focusing on Organic Chemistry, acting on the
following subjects: organic synthesis, heterocyclic, and carbohydrates. Research
interests include the design, synthesis and biological evaluation in small
molecules. Recent bibliographic production describes 26 articles published in
Scientific Journals and 1 chapter book. Over the last 9 years, has supervised 16
undergraduate students, 11 works of completion for graduation, 8 master
students and 2 Ph.D students. Current students: Master’s Thesis (3), Ph.D
Thesis (3), Scientific Initiation (2).
