ur plastic baking moulds made of LCP have similar non-stick properties
as metal baking moulds. The advantage is that this property is preserved
when the surface is damaged. This means, that the moulds do not get
rusty or lose any coating.
The moulds resist temperatures up to 446°F (loaf pan up to
500°F) and can easily be cleaned in the dish washer or
other cleaning devices. They are handy and lighter than
metal moulds and create less noise in the bakery.
Practical experience shows, that the temperatures
resp. the baking time can be decreased by around
10% compared to metal baking moulds.
Another possibility to decrease the baking
time is to use this mould in the microwave.
The innovative material is already used in
other cooking and baking applications. It is
self-extinguishing – so it can only burn with
an external energy supply. After use it can
be recycled completely resp. burned without
leaving any residues.
U
nsere Kunststoffbackformen aus LCP haben
ähnliche Antihafteigenschaften wie beschichtete
Metallbackformen. Der Vorteil ist aber, dass diese
Eigenschaft erhalten bleibt, wenn die Oberfläche
verletzt wird. Das bedeutet, dass die Formen nicht
rosten und sich keine Beschichtung löst.
Die Formen halten Temperaturen bis zu 230°C (Brotbackform
bis zu 260°C) aus und können einfach im Geschirrspüler
oder einer anderen Spülanlage gereinigt werden. Sie liegen gut
in der Hand, sind leichter als Metallformen und verursachen in der

Backstube deutlich weniger Lärm. Erfahrungen aus der Praxis zeigen, dass man

die Temperaturen bzw. die Backzeit um bis zu 10% im Vergleich zu Metallbackformen
verringern kann.
Eine weitere Möglichkeit, die Backzeit zu verringern, ist der Einsatz dieser Formen in der Mikrowelle. Das neuartige Material wird bereits
in anderen Koch- / Backanwendungen eingesetzt. Es ist selbsterlöschend – kann also nur unter externer Energiezufuhr verbrannt werden.
Nach Gebrauch kann es komplett recycelt bzw. rückstandslos verbrannt werden.
