Notes:
Printer will run at one-half speed when a custom media size/tray is
selected. The half-speed mode is implemented to protect the fuser.
When using narrow media, only the middle part of the fuser dissipates
heat and the outer edges of the fuser heat up.
The print engine speed is reduced with narrow media to allow for the
fuser to cool and, thus, prolong its life. To avoid potential damage to
the printer, please do not attempt to change printer speed.
To avoid scoring or shortening life of fuser, vary media sizes regularly.
Please insert Custom Media Cassette in Tray 2 position and properly
configure according to installation guide.
Since some reconfiguration is required to switch back to the standard
tray, you might find an extra Tray 3 makes workflows more efficient.
Custom Media Cassette does not support Letter/A4 paper sizes
