more days stored on this data carrier can be blocked upon presentation of the blocking
number receipt (you receive this when you purchase your ski pass) at the card readers. A
replacement pass will be issued for the remaining period subject to payment of a € 5.00
blocking fee. The value of the lost KeyCard will not be re-placed.

General provisions
The “Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis” ski pass entitles the holder to use all of the lifts in service during
the day (9.00 am to 4.00 pm) within the period of validity in accordance with the price
terms and conditions of carriage. Ski passes are not transferable. A ski pass may not be
traded in at a later date in exchange for another, nor may the period of validity be postponed to a later date. The individual services to which the ski pass entitles you shall be
provided by the legally independent businesses. The busi-ness that sells the pass only acts
for the other businesses as their representative. Only the respective business is therefore
obliged to provide the individual services and to pay damages in the case of any incidents!
Senior citizens
Ladies and gentlemen born before 1952 ride at the discounted senior citizens’ rate.

Physically disabled people with an official disability ID are entitled to the following
special rates: from 60% disability, a discount of approx. 15% applies, and from 70%

Advance ticket sales
On the day before at the main ticket offices in the valley terminal. Tickets can be used as
of 3.00 pm.
Overlapping periods
In the event of overlapping season periods, our ticket sales computer automatically calculates a pro rata price.
Extensions
Ski passes valid 6 or more days can be extended once only at a special rate and provided
that re-newal takes place immediately. Subject to presentation of a valid Guest Card.
Refunds
Refunds are available in the case of skiing accidents which have been confirmed with a
doctor’s note and with immediate surrender of the ski pass at the main ticket office. Days
of use are the days which have elapsed between the date of issue and date of surrender
of the ski pass at the ticket office. If the ski pass is surrendered by 9.30 am, this day will
not be counted. What counts is the date the ski pass is surrendered, not the date of the
accident. A medical note from a local doctor or a hospital is absolutely necessary and
can be submitted at a later time. Poor weather, the threat of avalanches, unforeseen
premature departure, sickness, service interruptions or the closing of downhill ski runs
and individual lifts, etc., do not constitute valid reasons for compensation or extensions.
Please check the current service and weather conditions before you buy your ski pass.
At the beginning and end of the season, owing to circumstances, there may be restrictions
to the pistes and facilities available.
Loss of tickets and ski passes
Lost tickets (single tickets and non-skier tickets) and ski passes valid up to 2 days will not
Inspections and fraudulent use
Admission checks are carried out in the valley terminals of the cable cars using automatic scanners. You are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the staff and to use the
ticket inspection ma-chines properly. On-the-spot inspections take place in the ski area.
For this reason, you should al-ways carry your ski pass on your person. Any incident of
fraudulent use or bypassing of the scanners shall result in the immediate confiscation of
the ski pass. We reserve the right to report the offence to the police. Anyone caught in
the inspection zones without a valid ski pass shall be required to pay a fine set at twice
the all-day ticket rate. A receipt showing that the fine has been paid can be used as a ski
pass on the same day. Please note that under the Austrian railways liability act, only customers with a valid ski pass are covered for insurance purposes. Do not buy any ski
passes from unauthor-ised vendors – such ski passes may be blocked! Furthermore, you
are committing an offence by do-ing so! Please note that, for the purpose of admission
control, a reference photo of the lift ticket holder is taken the first time that he/she passes
through a turnstile equipped with a camera. This ref-erence photo shall be compared by
the lift staff with the photos taken every subsequent time that the holder passes through
another turnstile equipped with a camera.

KeyCard
Touch-free admission to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski resort. When you buy your ski pass, we
only issue KeyCards with a returnable deposit of € 2.00. Your deposit will be returned to
you when you surren-der your undamaged KeyCard once your ski pass is no longer valid,
or you can keep your KeyCard and use it the next time you buy a ski pass in Serfaus-FissLadis.

The Komperdellbahn valley terminal has modern ski storage facilities with expert service,
ski boot dry-ing and disinfection facilities for all customers.
Ski and boot storage facility in Fiss-Ladis
The valley terminals in Fiss and Ladis feature spacious, convenient, heated and aired ski
and boot storage facilities. Use these convenient facilities and enjoy the short stroll
through the village to the cable cars.
Hire outlets in the skiing area and repairs of sports equipment
You can hire skis, snowboards, big-foot, snowblades and the latest in sports equipment
right at the valley terminals in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis and the “Take Off Snow & Fun
Center” at the Komperdell-bahn midway station.
Lost something?
Inquire at the lost property offices at the cable car ticket offices in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis
or try the cable car information office. NEW: www.fundamt.gv.at – the online lost & found
service run by Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.
Has your child gone missing?
Just ask at the piste rescue service, the cable cars and lift stations, the information office
and the cable car ticket offices – of course, we’ll try to help you as much as we can.
Conditions of carriage for children
Children who are 1.10 m to 1.25 m in height may only use the chairlifts and tow lifts
when accompa-nied by an adult (in the case of chairlifts they must sit on the adult’s lap
or on the adjacent seat). Children below the age of 3 or who are under 1.10 m in height
may only use the circulating cable cars and chairlifts when accompanied by an adult (in
the case of the chairlifts they must sit on the adult’s lap or on the adjacent seat). Children
below the age of 3 or who are under 1.10 m in height are not allowed to ride the tow
lifts. Please observe the relevant conditions of carriage posted on the notice boards at the
cable car and lift stations.
Please note:
The ski slopes are closed each day from 5.00 pm to 8.45 am!
In general, you are not permitted to ski or stay on the slopes during these times. Risk of
injury due to piste maintenance ruts, winch cables, loose cables on the ground and hoses
on the snowmaking equipment. On Wednesdays, the pistes may be used by First Track
participants from 7.30 am.
Exceptions in Serfaus
The middle and south downhill runs and the Waldabfahrt are closed from 6.00 pm (except
on Wednesdays: The middle downhill run and the toboggan run are closed 5.00 pm – 6.00
pm, open from 6.00 pm – 11.30 pm for Adventure Night).
Exceptions in Fiss
Möseralm downhill run for nighttime skiing and tobogganing evening.
Revolving lights on the panorama boards will be switched on if there is a risk of avalanches occurring outside the marked pistes (i.e. off-piste). You must observe any barriers,
stop signs or notices that have been set up or announced! Warning! Do not open the
harnesses on the chairlifts too early be-fore arriving at the mountain terminal!

FROMMES II RESERVOIR
With the new construction of the Frommes II Reservoir, the strength of the snowmaking facilities was increased fourfold. This means that when the temperatures
are low, we will be able to generate con-siderably more snow in a very short time,
also allowing us to put more pistes into operation.
ART ROUTE
The recently created “Art Route” winter hiking trail leads from the Schönjoch over
the Grat to the mountain terminal of the Schöngampbahn. Along the Art Route, you
can find stunning works of art made of various materials such as wood, marble,
steel, stone, granite, etc., which were created by renowned artists on the Schönjoch
as part of the event “Art on the Mountain”, and which can be pur-chased.
PISTE IMPROVEMENTS
This year, too, piste improvements have been made again. For example, in the
lower part of the Möseralm downhill run, the narrow section has been widened.
PLAYIN SERFAUS
The new indoor play and climbing world right by the valley terminal of the Komperdellbahn in Serfaus offers everything children could ever dream of: fun – games
– sports – and all indoors! A huge play & climbing paradise for kids and teens. In
the large climbing hall, 11 different climbing walls are available – every line has
its own motto. A real highlight are the two geometrix lines – two free-standing
climbing towers in the middle of the hall. The Boulder Room next door resembles
a large chemistry laboratory, where there’s an exciting task to solve! Another favourite is the large soft-play area, which extends over 6 whole floors! A laser room
where both skill and speed are required rounds off the perfect play experience at
the valley terminal. Adults have their own lounge area with refreshments and snacks
available, and from where the children’s activities can be followed on large flat
screens.

NEW DOWNHILL RUNS
In the area of the Obere Scheid, you can enjoy two new downhill runs from the
2016/2017 winter season: the Mittlere Scheidabfahrt and the Plötza Abfahrt. The
Plötza Abfahrt offers an alternative to the Moosabfahrt to reach the Masner ski area.
EXTENSION OF THE SNOWMAKING FACILITIES
Investments in optimising the snowmaking performance have also been made again
this year, and the entire Obere Scheid can also be covered with artificial snow as
of now.
