Die Bilder von Robert Süess, geboren 1950 in Luzern/Schweiz, erschliessen sich nicht nur
über den Verstand. Süess Mut, „neu sehen zu ler nen“ und dies mit den vielfältigen Mitteln
der Malerei umzusetzen, bringt seinen Werken eine subtile Kraft. Mit stark kontrastierenden
Flächen und kraftvollen Farbaufträgen seiner abstrakt anmutenden Acrylbilder kreiert der freischaffende Künstler mehrdeutige Raumgefüge. Grafisch-abstrakte Elemente verschaffen auch
Süess ausdrucksstarken Menschenformen neue Bezüge. Diese Werke atmen ihre Geschichte
und bestechen durch ihre erfrischende Farbigkeit, auch was die verwendeten Materialien,
Spachtel-, Pinsel-, Collage- und Schütttechnik, betrifft. „Ich hoffe, dass ich mit meinen Bildern die Freude, Lust und Liebe an den Feinheiten von Lebensqualität, Geschenken der Sonne,

The mind cannot fully capture the paintings by Robert Süess, who was born in 1950 in Lucerne, Switzerland. The courage of Süess in „learning to see anew“ and translating this to
painting in different ways brings a subtle power to his work. Using strongly contrasting areas
and powerful, emotional application methods, this freelance artist creates ambiguous rooms
in his abstract acrylic paintings. New meaning is decoratively brought to his expressive human
s h a p e s . H i s p a i n t i n g s b r e a t h e h i s t o r y, c o n v i n c i n g t h e o n l o o k e r w i t h t h e i r f r e s h b r i g h t n e s s a n d
the materials and techniques used: spatula, brush, collage and pouring technique. „I hope my
