EN: Free Activity Program for Overnight Guests
Free-touring Monday – spend the whole day with a mountain guide from Engelberg. You
will spend the first half of the day training at the Avalanche Training Center, learning how to
carry out a search with an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel. In the afternoon, it’s time
to hit the powder, with further onsite training.

Requirements: good off-piste skiing abilities
Equipment: complete ski-touring or free-riding equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel,
probe), available for rental at the mountain guide office or at local sports stores.
Registration: at the Tourist Center, up until 12 noon Sunday – previous day.
Without a Guest Card: CHF 150.- | Number of participants is limited
Ski-touring Tuesday – easy-going evening ski tour with a guide. Starting out on the Bord
cable car, ride to Bord, then go further on to Ristis at an easy pace. Your mountain guide will
gladly provide material and touring tips along the way.
5.00 p.m - 7.30 p.m (26 January, 2 February, 23 February and 1 March 2016)
Meetingpoint: Bergführer Büro / Mountain Guide Office Engelberg, Dorfstrasse 34
Requirements: good off-piste skiing abilities. Ability to ascend 240 vertical meters in
approx.1 hour
Equipment: complete ski-touring or free-riding equipment (fur, avalanche transceiver,
shovel, probe, head lamp, lift ticket for the cableway). Equipment available for rental at the
mountain guide office or at local sports stores.
Registration: at the Tourist Center, up until 4 p.m. Monday - previous day.
Without a Guest Card: CHF 50.- | Number of participants is limited
Safety Wednesday – The Mammut Safety Evening offers you the opportunity to prepare for
winter, particularly for avalanche safety, and to familiarize yourself with the latest safety
products. The orientation evening will be topped off by Glühwein (mulled wine) and
breathtaking movies.
6.30 p.m. – ca. 8.00 p.m. (27 January, 3 February, 24 February and 2 March 2016)

DE: Kostenloses Programm für Übernachtungsgäste
Freetouring Montag – den ganzen Tag mit einem Bergführer aus Engelberg unterwegs. Am
Vormittag trainierst du die Suche mit LVS, Sonde und Schaufel im Avalanche Training
Center und am Nachmittag steht Powdern kombiniert mit Ausbildung im Gelände auf dem
Programm.
08.30 bis 15.30 Uhr (25. Januar, 1., 22. und 29. Februar 2016)
Treffpunkt: 08.30 Uhr, Bergführer Büro Engelberg, Dorfstrasse 34
Anforderung: guter Skifahrer abseits der Piste
Material: Komplette Skitouren- oder Freerideausrüstung (LVS, Schaufel, Sonde). Material
kann im Bergführerbüro oder in den Sportgeschäften gemietet werden.
Anmeldung: bis am Sonntag um 12:00 beim Tourist Center – Vortag.
Ohne Gästekarte: 150.- | Teilnehmerzahl beschränkt.
Skitouring Dienstag – gemütliche und geführte Abendskitour in Engelberg. Mit dem
Bordbähnli geht es zum oberen Bord danach geht es gemütlich nach Ristis. Die Bergführer
geben während der Tour gerne Material- und Toureninputs.
17.00 – ca. 19.30 Uhr (26. Januar, 2., 23. Februar und 1. März 2016)
Treffpunkt : Bergführer Büro Engelberg, Dorfstrasse 34
Anforderung: guter Skifahrer abseits der Piste. Aufstieg 240 Hm ca. 1 Stunde.
Material: Komplette Skitouren- oder Freerideausrüstung. Felle, LVS, Sonde, Schaufel,
Stirnlampen, Skikarte für die Seilbahn. Material kann im Bergführerbüro oder in den
Sportgeschäften gemietet werden.
Anmeldung: Montag bis 16:00 Uhr beim Tourist Center – Vortag.
Ohne Gästekarte: CHF 50.- | Teilnehmerzahl beschränkt.
Safety Mittwoch – Der Mammut Safety Abend gibt dir die Gelegenheit, dich für den Winter
im Bereich Lawinensicherheit vor zu bereiten und die aktuellsten Produkte kennen zu lernen.
Abgerundet wird der Abend mit einem gemütlichen Glühwein und atemberaubenden
Freeride-Movies.
18.30 – 20.00 Uhr (27. Januar, 3., 24. Februar und 2. März 2016)
