The Indonesian Rattan Venture Continues
FAIR NEWS MESSENEWS M Ö B E L M A R K T DA I LY 2 0 12 6 The Indonesian Rattan Venture Continues Köln (rw). Cologne (bf). Hilding Anders now wants to conquer the German market with a new strategy, as press spokesman Dan- iel Oelker and the Regional Director for South-Western Europe, Martin Frutig, said in an interview with MÖBELMARKT Daily. In the future, the company wants to work with its brands Jensen, Eastborn, Bico und PVL in a crossbrand fashion in Germany, and establish them further on the German market. In terms of personnel, the new strategy is supported by the Regional Director for South-Western Europe, Martin Frutig, who so far was responsible for Switzerland, and now with the South-Western region is responsible for Great Britain, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and the Benelux countries. Concerning the long-term goal, he said: “It is our intention to grow in all areas – i.e. large-scale stores, furniture and bedding associations, and the discount area – in the long term.” A local organization with its location in Germany, which they last had three years ago, is likely for the company. Therewith, a local hotline and possibly also field services are to be guaranteed. “We hope that this will happen within the next 12 to 24 months”, said Frutig.
