Consumer API oder die kommerzielle Enterprise API.
In Ergänzung zu dem Microsoft und ArcGIS OnlineKartenangebot von ESRI bietet die geomer GmbH weitere
Internet-Karten-Dienste an. Diese Zusatzdienste, nach
internationalem Standard des Open Geospatial Consortiums (OGC) genormt, können online als Bild abgerufen
werden und stehen für eigene Kartendienste, Clients oder

GeoMedia, ...) zur Verfügung.

Transaction counting
“Billable Transactions” means any transaction using any
of the following Service functionalities (and subsets
thereof), or any successor names thereof, all as described
in the SDK.
Find Methods: Find, FindAddress, FindByProperty,
FindById, FindNearRoute, FindNearby GetLocationInfo,
ParseAddress.
Render Methods: GetMap
Route Methods: CalculateRoute, CalculateSimpleRoute
So if you want to geocode the address of A, it'll use one
transaction.
Your application will place calls to the Microsoft Virtual
Earth Map Control service for finding addresses, maps,
routes, driving directions and images. The Virtual Earth
service counts these calls from your application as Usage
Transactions. A usage transaction takes place every time
a user clicks within your application and calls the Virtual
Earth Map Control service for a response. The image
response to the call is provided in 9 panes. While the
display of the first pane is one transaction, movement to
an adjacent pane is only a fraction of a transaction. The
Virtual Earth Map Control uses caching, so movement
back and forth to the first pane is a 0 transaction.
If you want to geocode the address of B, it'll use one
transaction.
If you want to create a route from A to B, it'll use one
transaction.
If you want to render all this information on a Map, it'll use
one transaction.
So to get a map of a route from A to B, when I don't know
the geodesic data for A and B (here I know only the
addresses and need to geocode them), it'll cost me 4
transaction.
