BORAMEX
Amphibious excavator
BORAMEX wetland type amphibious excavator is a type of multipurpose excavator designed
specially for operation in lake area, marsh soft land surface and shallow water operation,
and can be used for engineering such as ditch excavation, pond dredging, man-made lake
dredging and etc, it features large range of excavation and small ground pressure.
Traveling mechanism adopts dual-body boat form buoyancy tank, traveling speed reducer drives
crawler chain, traveling is free and smooth. Upperstructures are modified normal excavators,
adopts 360° full swing and full hydraulic system operation, which are flexible and convenient.
The amphibious excavator can work in hot and dusty tropic area up to 55 C.
BORAMEX machines are developed and built entirely under our own management. Only the
components of top-brands such as Caterpillar, Rexroth, Komatsu, Hitachi are used. Servicing
BORAMEX is also very easy world wide.

Pontoon construction
The amphibious pontoons are manufactured from high steel and they are atmospheric corrosion
resistance and salty water resistance. Each pontoon has up to 5 independent water tight compartment with maintenance hole. The bottoms of the pontoons are reinforced for rough terrain
operation.
The power for the pontoon tracks is provided by brandname excavator manufactureres as e.g.
CATERPILLAR engine and main hydraulic pumps with traveling motors.
Track shoes: Special designed marine steel heavy duty
Track chains : 3 strands track chain
Every plate is hollow, like a seperate pontoon.

Transport and maintain
After final testing in our yard the BORAMEX is ready for delivery. The Caterpillar is shipped on a
flat rack container and the pontoons, boom and accessories fits into 40” container.
The BORAMEX is very easy to transport. In a short time the people on site can assembly and dismantle it. Our undercarriages consist of 2 amphibious pontoons connected together with a frame.
We can use CATERPILLAR upper structure but we can fitt any other producer of excavator.
Our amphibious excavators are available in weight category from 20 to 34 tons. The BORAMEX
can be equipped with various boom lengths ranging from 6 to 20 metres.
Our engineer training the new BORAMEX operators in the destination countries when the
machine arrives.

Main components
by use of Caterpillar
uppercarriage
Caterpillar product line part
Use the CAT diesel fuel engine, electricity injection
turbo charged middle cold engine, high reliability
and economized fuel consumption. High efficient reserve capacity with 140 kW power Turbo charged,
improve engine power and performance, can work
normally in the plateau.
Electricity controlled direct injection function provide
accurate injection volume. High efficient fuel chamber provides strong power output under low fuel
consumption, low displacement and low noise.
Large engine oil cooler reduces consumption and
accumulated carbon. Protect environment, meet
and excess European No.2 drainage standard. Accord with EPAC drain standard on exhausted gas.
All this component are used from Caterpillar.
Caterpillar Control System
Monitoring the parameters of the diesel engine and
the hydraulic system, also it could give an alarm
while in case of troubles, which can monitor and control the state of the Caterpillars main engine in time
and save the energy as much as possible. Steering
is obtained by the existing advanced controls, using
standard excavavator travel controls, located inside
the excavator`s operators cab.
Doosan Hydraulic
Dooosan brand hydraulic parts, oil pump intelligent
control, achieve the power matching with loads for
the amphibious excavator, minimize fuel consumption and minimize system radiation to guarantee the
reliable performance.
