Thomas Hermanns’ Quatsch Comedy Club proudly presents for the series “Quatsch in English“ one of the currently fastest rising starts of UK comedy: Daniel Sloss! Daniel Sloss started doing stand-­‐up aged 16. When he was just 17, he became one of the youngest-­‐ever finalists in the UK’s premiere comedy competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ at his first-­‐ever Edinburgh fringe. Since then, he has brought a new solo show to the fringe every year – and sold it out. In fact, for the last 3 years, Daniel has actually been one of the biggest co-­‐
medy stars at the fringe, playing to over 10,000 people each and going on to do massive UK tours with 50+ dates all over the UK. Self-­‐aware, he cheerfully acknowledges his callowness, yet impresses the audi-­‐
ance with his introspective intelligence even as he insists that anyone who thinks he's smart has to be dumb. The Scotsman says about Daniel: "For those who still view him as a precocious comedy boychild, Daniel Sloss has suddenly become a strong man of stand-­‐up ... dy Roadshow, Mock The Week, Set List and Russell Howard’s Good News, star-­‐
red in his own BBC show, The Adventures Of Daniel, gave a prestigious Tedx Talk, released his debut DVD – all by the time he was 22. In February 2014, he became the first comedian ever to perform twice within 2 months on the USA’s Conan O’Brien Show when he was asked right back after his incredible first set which just about blew the roof off the studio. - 1 -

Thomas Hermanns’ Quatsch Comedy Club präsentiert für die Reihe „Quatsch in English“ einen jungen Mann, dessen Stern gerade kometenhaft am britischen Comedy-­‐Himmel aufgeht: Daniel Sloss. Daniel Sloss fing schon im Alter von 16 Jahren mit der Stand-­‐Up-­‐Comedy an und gab bereits ein Jahr später sein Debüt bei dem renommierten britischen Comedy-­‐
Wettbewerb „So You Think You’re Funny?“ des Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. Damit war Daniel einer der jüngsten Finalisten, die jemals an diesen Wettbewerb teilge-­‐
nommen haben. Seitdem tritt er jedes Jahr beim Edinburgh Fringe Festival vor über 10.000 Zu-­‐
schauern auf. Seine Solo-­‐Shows sind dort immer ausverkauft und er zählt damit schon drei Jahre in Folge zu einem der größten Comedy-­‐Stars des Festivals. Auf den ersten Blick könnte man Daniel Sloss auf der Bühne für einen unreifen Grünschnabel halten und dessen ist er sich auch bewusst. Heiter spielt er mit die-­‐
