Lernen in der deutschen Schullandschaft

Die nur durchschnittlichen Leistungen deutscher Schülerinnen und Schüler im PISA-Test 2000 der
OECD stießen Diskussionen an, die die deutsche Schullandschaft in Bewegung brachten. Das deutsche
dreigliedrige Schulsystem gilt heute als überholt, in allen Bundesländern existieren neben Hauptschule,
Realschule und Gymnasium andere Schularten, die zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnen. Der Workshop
vermittelt einen exemplarischen Einblick in alternative Schularten, stellt pädagogische Konzepte vor und
lässt Schülerinnen und Schüler als auch Lehrkräfte solcher Schulen in authentischen Materialien zu Wort
kommen. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer erproben Sequenzen zum Einsatz im Unterricht und
haben die Möglichkeit zum Austausch.
Anka Fehling ist Beraterin für Deutschunterricht im Regionalbereich Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio.
Fuer die Zentralstelle fuer das Auslandsschulwesen (ZfA) betreut sie im Mittleren Westen Schulen, die
das Deutsche Sprachdiplom (DSD) anbieten.
