Der Opto-Akustische Melder OAM 24 ist eine Sicherheitseinrichtung, die die Gefahr eines Einklemmens bei
elektromotorisch betriebenen Fenstern reduzieren soll.
Während des Schließvorganges des Fensters erfolgt eine
akustische und/oder optische Signalisierung.
The opto-acoustic detector OAM 24 is a safety device to
reduce pinching hazard in connection with windows operated by electric drives. The system issues an acoustic and/or
visual signal while the window is being closed.

Die DIN, VDE sowie Vorschriften der Berufsgenossenschaften
und die Landesbauordnung sind zwingend zu beachten
(Auswahl VDE 0100, VDE 0833, VDE 0800, BGV).
The observance of applicable standards and government safety
organisation regulations as well as of the provisions of your
local power company is mandatory.
Alle Arbeiten an netzspannungsführenden Bauteilen dürfen nur
durch eine Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden. Bei allen
Arbeiten an dem Melder ist die Netzspannung allpolig abzuschalten. Der Melder ist gegen unbeabsichtigtes Wiedereinschalten abzusichern. Für die Netzzuleitung ist eine separate
und gekennzeichnete Vorsicherung vorzusehen.
Any work on live components may only be performed by a
trained electrician. When working on the detector, disconnect
all poles of the mains supply by an isolating link. This link must
be marked accordingly. The detector must be protected against
accidental actuation.
Alle Leitungen, die 24 V DC führen, sind nicht mit Starkstromleitungen zu verlegen (VDE-Vorschriften beachten). Die
Leitungslängen und Leitungsquerschnitte sind gemäß der
technischen Angaben auszuführen.
Nach der Installation des Melders sind alle Funktionen zu
überprüfen.
No wires conducting 24 V DC must be laid together with
electric power lines (follow VDE or equivalent regulations). All
wire lengths and cross sections must correspond with the
technical specifications.
Check all functions of the detector after the completion of the
installation.

Das Kabel von der Steuerung muss so an das OAM
angeschlossen werden, dass die Leuchtdioden
blinken, wenn die Steuerung “ZU” geschaltet ist.

Achtung!
Den OAM 24 nur mit 24 V DC betreiben, nie an 230 V AC
anschließen (sonst Lebensgefahr durch das Berühren
stromführender Teile).
Vor Wartungsarbeiten Spannungsversorgung abklemmen
und vor unbeabsichtigtem Wiedereinschalten sichern.
Attention!
The OAM 24 has to be operated only with 24 V DC, never
connect to 230 V AC (otherwise mortal danger by
touching cables that are live).
Prior service/maintenance works the supply voltage has
to be disconnected. Protect the system against unintentional re-starting.

Maintenance/Care
Das OAM 24 ist wartungsfrei. Die einwandfreie Funktion sollte
jedoch in regelmäßigen Abständen (mindestens 1x jährlich)
überprüft werden.
Das Gehäuse mit einem weichen Tuch und Neutralreiniger von
Verunreinigungen befreien und auf Beschädigungen prüfen.
Alle Anschlussleitungen auf Beschädigung und Funktion
prüfen. Evtl. defekte Teile austauschen. Es sind nur Originalersatzteile einzusetzen. Defekte Melder dürfen nur in unserem
Werk instandgesetzt werden. Danach alle Anlagenfunktionen
durch Probelauf testen.
Nach jeder Veränderung der Anlage müssen sämtliche
Funktionen durch Probelauf überprüft werden.
The OAM 24 is maintenance-free. The correct function should
be checked regularly, at least once a year.
Clean the housing from impurities with a soft cloth and neutral
cleaner; check it for damages. Check all connecting cables for
damages and function. Change in case of defective parts. Only
original parts have to be used. Defective detectors may only be
repaired at the manufacturer’s factory. After that check all
functions by test run.
After each change of the equipment all the functions have to
be checked by test run.
