?
Take part in a psychological thriller you will never forget. It is
based on the novel of the same name by the American author
Dennis Lehane.
It’s 1954, and the new and successful U.S. marshal Teddy
Daniels has to investigate the disappearance of a patient from
Boston’s Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital for mad people with
criminal minds.
He pretends to get an assignment on the island for personal
reasons, but it is not long before he wonders whether he hasn’t
been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical
treatments range from unethical to illegal to completely evil.
Teddy’s good investigating skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital
refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open.
As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous
criminals escape in the confusion, and a lot of things - hard to understand or to
explain - are going to happen. Teddy begins to doubt everything – his memory,
his partner, even his own sanity.

the movies. Now I have an answer.
See Up in the Air, based on the novel by Walter Kirn, a tragic
comedy from constantly successful director Jason Reitman (Thank
you for smoking, Juno). Romantic turbulences mixed up with the
terror of living in an economic world without consideration show
George Clooney at his best.
Clooney plays career-transition lawyer Ryan Bingham. His job is to
fire you from your job. Ryan has a sterile apartment in Omaha, Nebraska. But
he’s rarely there. For 322 days a year, he’s in and out of airports, stopping only
to fire innocent employees whose bosses are afraid of doing it. Ryan looks you in
the eye, shakes your hand and claims that being dismissed isn’t a tragedy, it’s an
opportunity. His aim is to earn ten million frequent flyer miles from his airline.
Finally, the suicide of a fired employee changes his attitude towards life.

YOU AGAIN
You again, the nonstop laugh festival, is pure
fun that features an all-star cast, including Kristen Bell,
Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis and the
extraordinary Betty White.
The film opens in 2002 with Marni, a high school senior at Ridgefield High School full
of acne and old-fashioned clothes, making a video about how she hates high school,
and is annoyed and teased by other children, especially Joanna, who has made
Marni’s high school life miserable. Marni also mentions in her film that her protective
older brother Will is very popular as a handsome basketball player. However, at a
very important basketball game, Joanna pushes Marni, dressed up as a mascot, into
Will, resulting in Ridgefield losing the game.
Years later, in 2010, Marni – now a beautiful woman - lives in New York. When she
flies home to her older brother’s wedding, she is worried because Will is about to
marry Joanna. However, when Marni meets Joanna for the first time in eight years,
Joanna does not seem to recognize her. Marni is also upset to see that Joanna fits in
very well with the family.

If this was just another book on the dangers of
sleeping rough, the reader would soon lose interest,
but it is far more exciting than that. The author
combines Link's tale with that of an unknown serial
killer threatening the homeless. You, the reader, see
how closely their lives brush against each other and
know it's only a matter of time before they clash.

cleverly draws the reader into Martha's lonely,
nightmarish, yet on the other hand somewhat
comfortable world. Using his mastery of character
and mood he creates a sense of extreme tension
that is often not only horrifying but also very sad.
Abomination is certainly not a book for sensitive
people, but for lovers of page-turning suspense
combined with forceful storytelling. You’ll find you

that he wanted to write a story about suffering in the
heat. In 1998 he won the Newberry Award for Holes.
