Invitation to Hannover
Dear friends and colleagues,
In 1985, the first European Burns Association Congress was held in Groningen,
the Netherlands. It is my pleasure to announce, that the 30th anniversary, the 16th
European Burns Association Congress 2015, will take place in Hannover, Germany! I am honored to invite all colleagues to Hannover, from the 16th to the 19th
September 2015.
I would like to thank you for having supported our and Germany’s candidacy! It is
a great honor for me personally and for the German Burns Society (DGV) to host
this prestigious and renowned congress.
The congress serves to disperse the most current information in science of burns to
experts in European and other foreign countries. The EBA congress group, the DGV,
the local congress team and me are looking forward to organize a challenging
and interesting program.
We are now starting to make a first agenda for the meeting and provide you with
the necessary details of registration and abstract submission. Please keep in mind
that early booking will help both you and us to have a smooth preparation and a
successful meeting. We would be most grateful for any suggestions and help.

Scientific Programme
We are happy to invite you to the 16th meeting of the EBA in Hannover, Germany.
Hannover is known worldwide as a venue for rich and groundbreaking innovative
trade fairs and conventions including the World Expo 2000. Throughout history
Hannover played an essential role shaping the cultural and social landscape of
central Europe.
It is in this spirit that we would like to fill the congress with innovation, controversy
and discussions to advance the treatment of burn patients.
We invite you to submit your poster and presentation abstracts on the current state
of your work. In continuing the tradition of EBA meetings as an educational forum,
we plan to emphasize and expand the instructional course panel section, which
will incorporate both didactic presentations as well as instructional videos. Therefore we also invite you to submit your videos concerning the topics of the planned
EBA meeting. Each panel will open with a state of the art lecture, followed by an
in depth discussion.
We are looking forward to the active participation of both the younger colleagues
and experienced faculty leading with their wealth of experience interesting and
intense discussions. We also extend a special welcome to nurses and therapists
involved in burn care.
We are looking forward to receive your abstract submissions under www.eba2015.de
and are excited to welcome you to Hannover in 2015.
