EIB Faucet Interface Device Type C Oras Product Number 198495
Oras Faucet Interface Device (type C) is compatible with Oras faucet models, 6102E, 6107E, 6109E and
6220EF urinal model 6506E, as well as shower models 6660E.
The Interface Device is powered via a bus cable and also supplies power to the Electra device. The EIB Tool
Software (ETS) is used to select the application programme, assign programme and addresses appropriately,
as well as download them to the Interface Device.

Installation on basin faucets
Attach the EIB Interface Device casing to the wall with screws. Detach the casing cover. Thread the EIB bus
wire though the cable gland (8). Attach the bus wires to the connector (2). Tighten the cable gland nut (8) in
the bus wire.
Connect the sensor wire coming from the device connector (6) and fix the cable gland in place. Replace the
casing cover.
Installation on wall-faucets, urinals and showers
Attach the EIB Interface Device casing to the wall or ceiling with screws. Detach the casing cover. Thread the
EIB bus wire though the cable gland (8). Attach the bus wires to the connector (2).Tighten the cable gland nut
in the bus wire.
Connect the sensor wire coming from the device connector (7) and fix the cable gland in place. Replace the
EIB Interface Device casing cover. Attach connectors 13 & 15 to each other. The connection between the
sensor and EIB Interface Device is shown in figure 6.

EIB Armaturen-Schnittstellengerät Oras Artikel-Nr. 198 495
Das Oras Armaturen-Schnittstellengerät (Typ C) kann für folgende Oras Armaturenmodelle benutzt werden
6102E, 6107E, 6109E und 6220EF, Urinalmodell 6506E, Duschmodelle 6660E.
Das Oras Schnittstellengerät erhält die Stromversorgung über das Buskabel und versorgt auch die ElectraArmatur. Die EIB-Tool Software (ETS) wird zur Auswahl der Applikationsprogramme, der Zuweisung geeigneter
Programme und Adressen und dem Übertragen dieser auf das Schnittstellengerät benutzt.

Montage mit der Waschtischarmatur
Befestigen Sie das Gehäuse des EIB-Schnittstellengeräts mit Hilfe der Schrauben an der Wand. Entfernen Sie
den Gehäusedeckel. Führen Sie das EIB-Kabel durch die Kabeldurchführung (8). Verbinden Sie das Buskabel mit
dem Stecker (2). Ziehen Sie die Mutter der Kabeldurchführung (8) fest.
Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Sensorkabels mit dem Gerätestecker (6) und befestigen Sie die
Kabeldurchführung. Montieren Sie den Gehäusedeckel.
Montage mit UP-Wandarmaturen, UP-Urinalen und UP-Duscharmaturen.
Befestigen Sie das Gehäuse des EIB-Schnittstellengeräts mit Hilfe der Schrauben an der Wand oder der Decke.
Entfernen Sie den Gehäusedeckel. Führen Sie das EIB-Buskabel durch die Kabeldurchführung (8). Verbinden Sie
das Bus-Kabel mit dem Stecker (2). Ziehen Sie die Mutter der Kabeldurchführung fest.
Verbinden Sie das Sensorkabel vom Gerätestecker (7) und schrauben Sie die Kabeldurchführung fest. Montieren
Sie den Deckel des Schnittstellengehäuses. Verbinden Sie die Stecker (13 + 15) miteinander. Im Bild (6) ist die
Verbindung zwischen dem Sensor und dem EIB-Schnittstellengerät dargestellt.
