A Feira ArtRio destina-se a galerias e escritórios de arte
moderna e contemporânea, nacionais e internacionais,
podendo participar também livrarias e editoras
especializadas em arte, museus e instituições culturais,
dentre outras entidades vinculadas à arte.
ArtRio
The ArtRio fair is destined for national and international
modern and contemporaneous art galleries and offices,
being, bookshops and publishing companies specialized in
art, museums, as well as cultural institutions and other art
linked entities, also eligible to participate .
Formulário de Inscrição e Normas de Inscrição
Este Formulário de Inscrição, devidamente preenchido e
assinado, devolvido dentro do prazo limite de inscrição,
constitui tão somente um Pedido de Participação e não
confere qualquer direito de expor na ArtRio. Toda informação
fornecida deverá ser exata, completa e verdadeira. Qualquer
imprecisão poderá ser motivo para a eventual exclusão
da ArtRio, sem prejuízo de indenização de perdas e danos
suportados por esta.
Ao enviar o Formulário de Inscrição, a galeria deverá realizar
o pagamento da Taxa de Inscrição, no valor de R$ 500,00
(quinhentos reais). Em nenhuma hipótese a Taxa de Inscrição
será restituída. Caso a Candidata venha a ser aprovada,
a importância paga pela Taxa de Inscrição será revertida
para ela, na forma de crédito de despesas de participação
(locação de espaço na Feira).
Application Form and Application Rules
Present Inscription Form, duly fulfilled and signed,
returned within the application time limit, constitutes
only a Participation Request and does not confer any right
to expose in the ArtRio. All supplied information should
be precise, complete and true. Any non-precision might
constitute a reason for eventual exclusion of ArtRio, without
same assuming any indemnification for eventual losses or
damages.
When sending the Inscription Form, the gallery should
perform the payment of the Application Fee in the value
of R$ 500.00 (five hundred Reais). Under no hypothesis
shall the Application Fee be returned. In case the Applicant
is approved, the value paid via the Application Fee shall
be reverted to it in form of credit relating to participation
expenses (space renting within the fair).
Galerias e Propostas
A Candidata deverá enviar propostas inéditas, desenvolvidas
exclusivamente para a ArtRio (Proposta de Exposição). Cada
Proposta de Exposição será avaliada individualmente pelo
Comitê Curatorial da ArtRio, conforme item 3 do Termos
e Condições da ArtRio. As Candidatas que tiverem suas
Propostas de Exposição aprovadas receberão comunicado
oficial da feira na forma indicada em Galerias Aprovadas,
devendo dar continuidade ao processo de participação.
Galleries and Proposals
The Applicant should send inedited proposals, which were
exclusively developed for ArtRio (Exhibition Proposal). Each
Exhibition Proposal shall be evaluated individually by ArtRio’s
Curatorial Committee, according to item 3 of ArtRio’s Terms
and Conditions. The Applicants which have their Exhibition
Proposals approved, shall receive an official notice from the
fair in the form indicated under Approved Galleries, and
should continue their participation process.
Documentação Exigida
A Candidata deverá anexar a este Formulário de Inscrição os
seguintes documentos:
• Dossiê completo da galeria, refletindo toda a sua trajetória,
até a data presente, incluindo currículo dos artistas que
representa e 03 (três) fotos da galeria, em formato JPEG,
com 300dpis.
• Proposta de Exposição na ArtRio 2013 (artista / número
de obras / projeto e conceito), incluindo 03 (três) imagens
da(s) obra(s) proposta(s), no formato JPEG, com 300dpi,
contendo ficha técnica de cada obra, biografia e currículo
dos artistas.
Required Documentation
The Applicant should enclose the following documents to
present Application Form:
• Complete dossier of gallery, reflecting its trajectory up
to present date, including curriculum of the represented
artists and 03 (three) gallery photos, in Jpeg format, with
300 dpi;
• Exhibition Proposal for ArtRio 2013 (artist / number of
works / project and conception), including 03 (three)
images of proposed masterpiece(s) in the Jpeg format,
with 300 dpi, including the technical card of each
masterpiece, biography and curriculum of the artists.

If Applicant fails to send any of the documents listed within
the Required Documentation or in case the sending is not
performed in accordance to above mentioned rules, ArtRio
might, at it sole criteria, exclude Applicant from the proposal
evaluation phase.
Estrutura do Estande
Os estandes encontram-se totalmente equipados e incluem:
espaço de exposição, construção dos estandes, instalação
elétrica, taxa ambiental, taxa de consumo elétrico, mobiliário
padrão composto por 01 (uma) mesa padrão + 03 (três)
cadeiras, placa sinalizadora com nome da galeria, cidade, país
de origem e número de estande e limpeza antes da Abertura
Oficial da Feira.
Stand Structure
The stands are totally equipped and include: Exhibition space,
construction of stands, electrical installation, environmental
fee, electrical energy consumption fee, standard furniture
comprising 01 (one) standard desk + 03 (three) chairs,
signaling plate with gallery name, city, country of origin and
stand number, as well as cleaning before the official opening
of the fair
Catálogo e Material
As Candidatas Aprovadas deverão enviar imagens para
inserção obrigatória de 01 página colorida no catálogo dentro
do prazo indicado no Cronograma (i.e., até o dia 30 de Maio
de 2013), ao custo de R$ 2.000,00 (impostos incluídos), que
lhe será cobrado pela ArtRio incluído no preço de locação
e participação, conforme o estipulado no Programas ArtRio
2013 (Preço).
Catalog and Material
The Approved Applicants should send images for the
obligatory insertion of 01 colored page in the catalog within
the deadline indicated in the Schedule (i.e. up to Mai 30th,
2013), at the cost of R$ 2.000,00 (taxes included), which
shall be charged by ArtRio, and which is included in the
renting and participation price according to the stipulation
mentioned under ArtRio Programs 2013 (Price).
Serão entregues a cada galeria participante 02 (dois)
Catálogos Oficiais, 04 Crachás de livre acesso para
expositores, 20 Convites PREFERENCIAL VIP, 20 Convites
VIP, 40 Convites apenas da abertura.
For each participating gallery shall be delivered 02 (two)
Official Catalogs, 04 Badges for free access of expositors, 20
PREFERENTIAL VIP Invitations, 20 VIP Invitations, and 40
Invitations for the opening only.
Taxa de Inscrição
O pagamento da Taxa de Inscrição, no valor de R$ 500,00
(quinhentos reais), será realizado através de Depósito/
Transferência Bancária conforme as instruções constantes do
Item 8 do Termos e Condições da ArtRio na conta corrente
abaixo indicada, devendo o seu comprovante ser enviado
juntamente com o Formulário de Inscrição.
Application Fee
The payment of the Application Fee in the value of R$ 500.00
(five hundred Reais), shall be performed via Bank Deposit /
Transference according to the instructions contained under
Item 8 of ArtRio’s Terms and Conditions to the current
account mentioned below, and the pertinent bank deposit slip
should be sent together with the Application Form.
A Inscrição da candidata somente será confirmada após a
identificação do pagamento da Taxa de Inscrição.
The Application of Applicant shall only be confirmed after the
Application Fee payment identification.
Galerias Aprovadas
As Candidatas, regularmente inscritas e cuja documentação
foi apresentada corretamente, terão suas Propostas de
Exposição avaliadas e classificadas pelo Comitê Curatorial da
ArtRio, conforme item 3 do Termos e Condições da ArtRio.
Approved Galleries
The Applicants regularly inscribed, and which documentation
has been correctly presented, shall have their Exhibition
Proposals duly evaluated and classified via the Curatorial
Committee of ArtRio, according to Item 3 of ArtRio’s Terms
and Conditions.
The Applicants shall be communicated officially on the
approval of its Exhibition Proposals by ArtRio, via an e-mail
sent to the address supplied by them within the Application
Form, whereas these results shall be timely published in
ArtRio’s website www.artrio.art.br.
The approved Applicants must confirm their participation
according to the procedure stipulated under item 5
of ArtRio’s Terms and Conditions (Confirmation of
Participation) within the non-renewable deadline mentioned
in the Schedule.
As Candidatas serão comunicadas oficialmente da aprovação
de suas Propostas de Exposição pela ArtRio, através de
e-mail enviado para o endereço por elas fornecido no
Formulário de Inscrição, sendo esses resultados publicados
oportunamente no website da ArtRio www.artrio.art.br
As candidatas aprovadas deverão confirmar sua participação,
conforme procedimento estipulado no item 5 do Termos e
Condições da ArtRio (Confirmação de Participação) dentro
do prazo improrrogável descrito no Cronograma.
As Propostas de Exposição das Candidatas não selecionadas
poderão ser reanalisadas e, a critério da ArtRio, poderão
ser classificadas/aprovadas posteriormente, do que as
galerias eventualmente reclassificadas serão comunicadas
oportunamente.
The Exhibition Proposals of the non-selected Applicants
might be reanalyzed and at ArtRio’s criterion might be
classified / approved retrospectively, and the eventually
reclassified galleries shall be timely communicated.
Seguindo-se à sua Confirmação de Participação, deverão
assinar o Contrato de Participação, cuja minuta de seus
termos e condições é disponibilizada no website da ArtRio
www.artrio.art.br e efetuar o pagamento do Preço.
Following the Participation Confirmation, the Applicants
should sign the Participation Agreement, which draft of terms
and conditions is turned available in ArtRio’s website
www.artrio.art.br, and provide for payment of the Price.
Condições de Pagamento
A locação do Estande e a Participação da Candidata
Aprovada na Feira ArtRio, estará sujeita ao pagamento
tempestivo do Preço.
As condições e prazos de pagamentos são aqueles previstos
no item 8 do Termos e Condições da ArtRio.
Payment Conditions
The Stand renting and the Participation of the Approved
Applicant in the ArtRio fair shall be subject to the seasonable
payment of the Price.
The payment conditions and deadlines are those foreseen
under item 8, ArtRio’s Terms and Conditions.
O não pagamento na forma e prazos escolhidos pela
Candidata Aprovada implicará na sua desclassificação
(por inadimplemento) ou no cancelamento da reserva do
estande, conforme o momento da mora e a exclusivo critério
da ArtRio, podendo a ArtRio convocar outra Candidata para
ocupar o lugar da Candidata inadimplente. A ArtRio poderá, a
seu exclusivo critério e conveniência, remanejar a Candidata
em mora para outro estande, conforme a disponibilidade de
espaço, sendo esta conduta uma mera liberalidade da ArtRio,
não caracterizando novação, tampouco remissão de dívida.
The non-payment in the form and deadlines chosen by the
Approved Applicant shall implicate in its declassification
(through default) or in the stand reserve cancelling, according
to moment of arrears and to the exclusive criterion of ArtRio,
being ArtRio authorized to invite another Applicant to
occupy the place of the defaulting Applicant. ArtRio might,
at its exclusive criterion and convenience, relocate the
Applicant in arrears to another stand, according to the space
availability, being this behavior a mere liberality of ArtRio, not
characterizing novation nor debt remission.
Cronograma
A Feira seguirá o cronograma abaixo, que poderá ser
alterado a exclusivo critério ArtRio, sendo qualquer
modificação nos prazos estabelecidos devidamente
comunicada às Candidatas, através do website da ArtRio
www.artrio.art.br e, eventualmente, outros dos canais
regulares de comunicação.
Schedule
The fair shall follow the schedule mentioned below,
which might be altered at ArtRio’s exclusive criterion,
being any alteration of the established deadlines duly
communicated to the Applicants through ArtRio’s
website www.artrio.art.br, and eventually via regular
communication channels.

A ArtRio Feira de Arte Moderna e Contemporânea do Rio
de Janeiro oferece 02 (duas) modalidades de programas
para as galerias. Ao preencher o Formulário de Inscrição, a
candidata deve obrigatoriamente marcar em qual programa
se enquadra, sob risco de desclassificação. A seguir, um
breve descritivo dos programas e seus requisitos. Em caso de
dúvidas, favor contatar a produção do evento.
The ArtRio fair counts on 02 (two) different Programs.
The Applicant should mandatorily appoint in which program
it fits best, undser the risk of disclassification. Below, a brief
description of the programs and its requisites. In the case
of any doubt, please contact the production of the event.
1. PANORAMA
Requirements:
Program destined for galleries acting in the international art
market, from the modern vanguard to the contemporary art.
Each proposal will be evaluated by the profile of the gallery,
by its achievements, by its performance during its existence.
The galleries which apply for the Panorama program
participate of other programs existing in the fair.
Requisitos:
Programa voltado para galerias atuantes no mercado
internacional das artes, com acervo de obras que vai da
vanguarda modernista à arte contemporânea. Cada proposta
será avaliada pelo perfil da galeria, por suas realizações e por
suas práticas realizadas ao longo de sua existência. Galerias
que se inscreverem para o programa Panorama podem
participar de outros programas existentes na Feira.

apresentar, no máximo, 03 (três) artistas por estande e as
galerias que se inscreverem neste programa não podem
participar do programa Panorama.

1. O EVENTO
A ARTRIO é uma Feira Internacional de Arte Contemporânea,
com periodicidade anual, que se realiza na Cidade do Rio de
Janeiro, no Pier Mauá. O evento tem duração de 5 (cinco)
dias, com Abertura Oficial destinada apenas aos convidados
da ARTRIO, dos patrocinadores e dos expositores.
1. THE EVENT
ARTRIO is an International Contemporary Art Fair, with
annual periodicity, which takes place in the city of Rio de
Janeiro, at the Mauá Pier. The event has a duration of 5 (five)
days, which Official Opening is destined for ARTRIO’s guests,
sponsors and expositors only.
2. OS EXPOSITORES
A ARTRIO destina-se a galerias e escritórios de arte moderna
e contemporânea, nacionais e internacionais, podendo
participar também livrarias e editoras especializadas em

3. CRITÉRIOS DE PARTICIPAÇÃO
Serão selecionados a participar da ARTRIO expositores
de prestígio e com sólida trajetória e projeção no mercado
nacional e/ou internacional e cujas propostas sejam
inovadoras e contribuam para o enriquecimento da Feira, sua
qualidade e diversidade.
Todos os expositores que pretendam se candidatar ao
Processo de Seleção ARTRIO 2013 deverão preencher o
Formulário de Inscrição, disponível no website da Artrio
www.artrio.art.br e enviá-lo datado e assinado
conjuntamente com a Documentação Exigida conforme
o ali definido, para:
3. PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
To participate in ARTRIO you must be a selected renamed
exhibitor, with solid trajectory and projection in the national
and/or international market, and which proposals are
innovating and contribute to fair’s enrichment, as well as
to its quality and diversity. All expositors that pretend to
candidate to ARTRIO’s 2013 Selection Process should fulfill
the Application Form, available at Artrio’s website
www.artrio.com.br and send it duly dated and signed
together with the Required Documentation listed

Os Formulários de Inscrição serão avaliados pela ARTRIO,
através de seu Comitê Curatorial, não configurando, em
nenhuma hipótese, o seu preenchimento e envio na admissão
automática à ARTRIO.
A Candidata que não atender aos critérios e aos requisitos
objetivos, bem como não enviar a Documentação Exigida,
conforme descrição constante do Formulário de Inscrição,
dos Programas ArtRio 2013 e do presente Termos e
Condições da ArtRio, será sumariamente desclassificada pela
ARTRIO, mediante decisão fundamentada.
A Candidata, cuja proposta de exposição apresentada não
venha a ser selecionada pelo Comitê Curatorial da ArtRio,
cuja composição e funcionamento se dará na forma descrita
na Cláusula 4, infra, do presente Termos e Condições da
ArtRio, não participará da Feira ArtRio.
Para além dos critérios e requisitos objetivos, assim como
aqueles subjetivos de seleção artística pelo Comitê Curatorial
da ArtRio, a ARTRIO poderá, a seu exclusivo critério, recusar
a participação de Candidatas que, em seu histórico, tenham
apresentado problemas de conduta, tais como: [i] falta ou
impontualidade no cumprimento de obrigações, prazos e
pagamentos; [ii] atitude inadequada ou desrespeitosa em
relação à Organização da Feira, seus patrocinadores, Comitê

The Application Forms shall be evaluated by ARTRIO,
through its Curatorial Committee, and its fulfillment
and automatic admission shall not configure, under any
hypothesis, an automatic admission by ARTRIO.
The Applicant that does not attend the criteria or
objective Requirements, and does not send the Required
Documentation, according to description contained within
the Application Form, of ArtRio 2013 Programs and of present
ArtRio’s Terms and Conditions, shall be briefly declassified by
ARTRIO by means of substantiated decision.
The Applicant which presented an exposition proposal and
is not selected by the ArtRio Curatorial Committee, which
composition and functioning shall take place in the form
described under Clause 4 below, of present ArtRio’s Terms
and Conditions, shall not participate of the ArtRio fair.
Besides the criteria and objective Requirements, as well
as the subjective ones relating to the artistic selection
by ArtRio’s Curatorial Committee, ARTRIO might, at its
exclusive criterion, refuse the participation of Applicants
which, following their history, have presented behavioral
problems, such as: [i] lack or unpunctuality in the fulfillment
of obligations, deadlines and payments; [ii] inadequate or disrespectful attitude in relation to fair’s Organization, its
sponsors, Curatorial Committee, other Exhibitors and/or
Curatorial, outros Expositores e/ou clientes ou qualquer outra
entidade ligada ao evento; [iii] falta de ética na condução de
seus negócios durante a feira; [iv] exposição de trabalhos
cuja autenticidade seja duvidosa ou incerta e; [v] qualquer
outra conduta que não se coadune com o evento e a ética do
mercado de artes.
4. COMITÊ CURATORIAL DA ARTRIO
O Comitê Curatorial da ArtRio é uma entidade autônoma,
composta de membros convidados com notório
conhecimento no campo das artes, destinado a avaliar,
classificar e aprovar as Candidatas participantes do Processo
de Seleção ArtRio 2013.
A ARTRIO é responsável, tão somente, pela escolha de
seus membros, sendo o Comitê Curatorial da ArtRio
soberano e independente em todas as decisões, critérios e
fundamentações adotados para a escolha das Candidatas
aprovadas.
A organização da ARTRIO poderá, a seu exclusivo critério
ou por sugestão de seu Comitê Curatorial, convidar
expositores nacionais ou internacionais, cuja participação
julgue relevante para a feira, os quais ficam dispensados
de apresentar Formulário de Inscrição e de participar de
processo seletivo.
5. APROVAÇÃO
A Candidata que tiver a sua participação aprovada
pelo Comitê de Seleção da ArtRio, receberá da ARTRIO
comunicação oficial, através de e-mail enviado para o
endereço por elas fornecido no Formulário de Inscrição,
sendo esses resultados publicados oportunamente no
website da ArtRio www.artrio.art.br
A Candidata Aprovada deverá confirmar, por e-mail
ou Correios, a locação do estande e a sua participação
(Confirmação de Participação), dentro do prazo estabelecido
no Cronograma, previsto no Formulário de Inscrição.
A confirmação de aprovação de participação emitida pela
ARTRIO, juntamente com Confirmação de Participação
emitida pela Candidata Aprovada constituirão contrato válido
entre as partes nos termos do Formulário de Inscrição e dos
Termos e Condições da ArtRio, que as partes, que desde já
afirmam conhecer e concordar (Contrato de Participação).
A ARTRIO e as Candidatas Aprovadas formalizarão o
Contrato de Participação nos termos da minuta publicada
no website da ArtRio www.artrio.art.br com as inserções
necessárias para cada caso particular e poderão firmar,
futuramente, um termo de cessão de área e documentos
correlatos, para efeitos de legalização do espaço.
A validade do Contrato de Participação estará condicionada
ao pagamento do Preço integral, para as Candidatas que
optarem pelo pagamento à vista, ou da 1ª Parcela, para
aquelas que optarem pelo pagamento parcelado.
6. LOCALIZAÇÃO DOS ESTANDES
A localização do Estande locado será atribuída pela ARTRIO
levando-se em consideração as dimensões solicitadas
por cada Candidata Aprovada, o projeto de exposição e
relevância das obras apresentadas, bem como a harmonia
geral do evento o conceito do projeto artístico do Comitê de
Seleção.

4. ARTRIO’S CURATORIAL COMMITTEE
ArtRio’s Curatorial Committee is an autonomous entity,
composed of invited members with notorious knowledge
in the art field, having the function to evaluate, classify and
approve the participating Applicants in the ArtRio’s 2013
Selection Process.
ARTRIO is only responsible for the choice of the members,
being the Curatorial Committee sovereign and independent
concerning all decisions, criteria and substantiations adopted
for the choice of the approved Applicants.
ARTRIO’s organization might, at its exclusive criterion or
via suggestion of its Curatorial Committee invite national
or international expositors, which participation is judged
as relevant for the fair, and who shall remain dispensed
to present the Application Form and to participate of the
selective process.
5. APPROVAL
The Applicant that shall have its participation approved
by ArtRio’s Selection Committee shall receive an official
communication of ARTRIO via an e-mail sent to the address
supplied by it within the Application Form, being such results
opportunely published within ArtRio’s website
www.artrio.art.br.
The Approved Applicant should confirm its participation
(Confirmation of Participation) and stand renting via e-mail
or letter, within the deadline established in the Schedule and
foreseen within the Application Form.
The participation approval confirmation issued by ARTRIO,
together with the Confirmation of Participation issued by
the Approved Applicant shall constitute a valid agreement
between the parties in terms of the Application Form and
ArtRio’s Terms and Conditions, which the parties already
confirm to know and to agree with (Confirmation of
Participation).
ARTRIO and the Approved Applicant shall formalize the
Participation Agreement issued in terms of the minute
published in ArtRio’s website www.artrio.art.br, with the
necessary insertions for each particular case and might
sign in the future an area assignment term and correlate
documents for pertinent space legalization.
The validity of the Participation Agreement shall be
conditioned to the payment of the total Price concerning the
Applicants that opt for the down payment, or of the 1st Parcel
for those that opt for the parceled payment.
6. LOCATION OF THE STANDS
The location of the rented Stand shall be attributed by
ARTRIO taking into consideration the dimensions asked
for by each Approved Applicants, the exposition project
and relevance of the presented masterpieces, as well as the
general event harmony and the artistic project concept of the
Selection Committee. Under the hypothesis of the stand
having been rented to the Approved Applicant exceeding

7. CARACTERÍSTICAS DO ESTANDE
Os estandes possuem características de execução
padronizadas e tamanhos que variam entre 20 e 120 m2. A
Candidata aprovada poderá requerer modificações especiais
ao estande padrão. Toda e qualquer modificação terá
um custo adicional e somente poderá ser executada pela
montadora oficial da Feira ou por representantes credenciados
pela ARTRIO, mediante solicitação prévia, cujo prazo será
estabelecido no Manual do Expositor.
7. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STANDS
The stands have standardized performance characteristics
and sizes that vary between 20 and 120 m2. The approved
Applicant might request special modification concerning
the standard stand. All and any modifications shall suffer an
additional cost and might only be performed by the official
assembler of the fair, or by representatives credentialed by
ARTRIO, by means of previous solicitation, which deadline
shall be established within the Expositor Manual.
8. CONDIÇÕES DE PAGAMENTO
O Preço conforme definido no Formulário de Inscrição poderá
ser pago nos seguintes prazos e condições:

2013 será dado desconto de 10% do valor total contratado.

Pagamento parcelado em 2 vezes:
• Até 28 de fevereiro de 2013, deverá ser pago 50% do valor

• Até 30 de março de 2013 deverá ser pago o saldo
remanescente de 50% do valor total contratado

Payment divided in 2 installments:
• Up to February 28th 2013 must be effected the payment of
50% of the total contracted value, (not including the extra

• Up to March 30th 2013, should be effected the payment of

Qualquer das modalidades de pagamento acima descritas
poderá ser quitada em uma das formas a seguir:

Não será admitida qualquer outra modalidade e forma de
pagamento, além daquelas previstas acima, não devendo ser
efetuado qualquer pagamento diretamente aos organizadores,
produtores e/ou qualquer pessoa que se identifique como
funcionário ou prestador de serviço da ArtRio.
A locação do estande e a Participação da Candidata
Aprovada somente será confirmada após a comprovação da
compensação do crédito pela instituição financeira.
O não pagamento na forma e prazos escolhidos pela
Candidata Aprovada implicará na sua desclassificação (por
inadimplemento) ou no cancelamento da reserva do estande,
conforme o momento da mora e a exclusivo critério da ArtRio,
podendo a ArtRio convocar outra Candidata para ocupar
o lugar da Candidata inadimplente. A ArtRio poderá, a seu
exclusivo critério e conveniência, remanejar a Candidata
em mora para outro estande, conforme a disponibilidade de
espaço, sendo esta conduta uma mera liberalidade da ArtRio,
não caracterizando novação, tampouco remissão de dívida.
Até o dia de início de montagem da Feira, o Preço deverá estar
quitado pelas Candidatas Aprovadas. No preço do estande
não está incluída a inserção de material informativo no
Catálogo Oficial do evento.
Any of the above mentioned payment modalities might be
quitted in one of the forms mentioned in the following:
• Identified bank deposit
• Electronic transfer
• Credit Card
Any other modality or payment form different from those
foreseen above shall not be permitted, and no payment
should be made directly to the organizers, producers and/or
any other person that identifies itself as employee or service
renderer of ArtRio.
The stand renting and the Participation of the Approved
Applicant shall only be confirmed after corroboration of the
credit compensation via the financial institution.
The non-payment in the form and deadlines chosen by the
Approved Applicant shall implicate in its declassification
(through default) or in the stand reserve cancelling, according
to moment of arrears and to the exclusive criterion of ArtRio,
being ArtRio authorized to invite another Applicant to
occupy the place of the defaulting Applicant. ArtRio might,
at its exclusive criterion and convenience, relocate the
Applicant in arrears to another stand, according to the space
availability, being this behavior a mere liberality of ArtRio, not
characterizing novation nor debt remission.
The Price should have already been paid by the Approved
Applicant up to the day of the fair assembling start. In the
stand price shall not be included the insertion of informative
material within the Official Event Catalog

9. TAXAS MUNICIPAIS
A Prefeitura Municipal do Rio de Janeiro cobra de cada
expositor taxas de fiscalização, anúncio e distribuição de
folhetos, que serão pagas pela própria Candidata Aprovada,
juntamente com o pagamento descrito na Cláusula 8, supra.
9. COUNTY TAXES
The Municipal City Hall of Rio de Janeiro charges inspection,
advertisement and brochure distribution fees of each
expositor, which shall be paid by the Approved Applicant
itself, together with the payment described under Clause 8
above.
10. DIREITOS AUTORAIS E DE IMAGEM
Uma vez aprovada a locação do estande e a participação da
Candidata na ARTRIO, a mesma cede à ARTRIO, gratuita e
irrevogavelmente, permissão para uso de seu nome, fotos e
material de seus artistas, os quais poderão ser utilizados total
ou parcialmente, em qualquer mídia, inclusive na internet, e
no catálogo da exposição, para fins específicos de divulgação
e promoção do evento, ficando a Candidata responsável
por manter a ArtRio a salvo de qualquer reclamação ou
reivindicações desses artistas ou terceiros, em razão do uso
dos direitos que se declarou detentora e licenciou, na forma
aqui estabelecida, à ARTRIO.
10. COPYRIGHTS AND IMAGE
Once the stand renting and the participation of Applicant
within ARTRIO has been duly approved, same shall assign
costless and irrevocably permission for the use of its name,
as well as of photos and material of its artists, which might
be used total or partially within any media, inclusively in the
Internet as well as in the exposition catalog, for specific event
divulgation and promotion purposes, remaining the Applicant
responsible to keep ArtRio safe from any complaints or
claims of such artists or third parties in view of the use of the
rights of which she declared itself detector and performed
the licensing to ARTRIO in the form established herein.
11. INSTALAÇÕES DO PIER MAUÁ
Não serão permitidas perfurações de qualquer natureza,
aplicação de tintas, colas ou outros materiais às colunas,
pisos, caixilhos, portas, vidros e estruturas do Pier Mauá.
Quaisquer danos ou avarias causados ao Pier Mauá, mesmo
que acidentais, serão cobrados da Candidata Aprovada, que
se obriga a saldá-los no ato da apresentação da respectiva
conta ou realizar o reparo imediato, de acordo com
orientações técnicas do Pier Mauá.
11. INSTALLATIONS AT THE MAUÁ PIER
Drilling of any kind, as well as application of paints, glues
or any materials to the columns, floors, frameworks,
glasses and structures of the Mauá Pier shall not be
allowed. Any damages or averages caused to the Mauá
Pier, even if accidental, shall be charged to the Approved
Applicant, who obliges to settle them by the time the
respective invoice is presented, or perform the immediate
repair according to Mauá Pier’s technical orientations.
12. LIMITAÇÕES DE OBRAS E PERFORMANCES
NO ESTANDE
As obras sonoras devem manter volume reduzido. Esculturas
e instalações com altura superior ao tamanho da parede
dos estandes não devem ser posicionadas próximas aos
estandes vizinhos, sendo proibida a sua colocação nos
corredores. Performances não podem invadir os corredores,
tampouco causar interferência visual ou sonora nos
estandes vizinhos. Qualquer desrespeito autorizará à ArtRio
a promover a remoção da estrutura ou peça ou impedimento
da atividade irregulares às expensas da Candidata Aprovada
sem prejuízo das perdas e danos.
12. LIMITATIONS OF STAND WORKS AND
PERFORMANCES
The sonorous works should keep a reduced volume.
Sculptures and installations that present heights higher
than the stand wall size should not be positioned next
to the neighbor stands, being forbidden their positioning
within the corridors. Performances should not invade the
corridors nor cause visual or sonorous interference inside
the neighbor stands. Any disrespect shall authorize ArtRio
to promote the removal of the structure or part, and
impediment of irregular activities at the costs of Approved
Applicant without losses or damages.
13. INTERNET
A ARTRIO disponibilizará acesso gratuito a internet sem
fio (wi-fi) para as Candidatas Aprovadas, que deverão
requerer senha de acesso no CAEX (Central de Atendimento
ao Expositor). Para evitar colapsos no serviço de internet,
imagens e arquivos devem ser enviados em formato JPEG
e comprimidos para web com, no máximo, 400kb. Este
tamanho é suficiente para assegurar uma boa leitura sem
sobrecarregar demasiadamente a rede.
13. INTERNET
ARTRIO shall turn available free wireless internet access
(Wi-Fi) for the Approved Applicants, who shall require
access password at the CAEX (Expositor Attendance
Center). To avoid collapses in the Internet service,
images and files should be sent in the JPEG format and
compressed for web with a size of maximal 400 kB.
This size is sufficient to ensure a good lecture without
overloading too much the network.
14. LIMPEZA
A Organização da ARTRIO se incumbirá da limpeza dos
banheiros e das áreas de circulação comum durante o
horário de funcionamento do evento. O recolhimento de
lixo será efetuado diariamente após as 22h. A ARTRIO não
fará limpeza no interior dos estandes locados. Serviços de
limpeza poderão ser contratados no CAEX.
14. CLEANING
The ARTRIO Organization shall be responsible for toilet
cleaning and common circulation areas during the
event functioning hours. The garbage collection shall be
performed on a daily basis after 10 AM. ARTRIO shall
not clean the inner parts of the rented stands. Cleaning
services might be contracted at the CAEX.
15. CATÁLOGO
Cada Candidata Aprovada receberá 02 (dois) catálogos
gratuitos, podendo adquirir unidades adicionais, com
20% de desconto. As Candidatas Aprovadas são
responsáveis pela veracidade de todas as informações que
disponibilizarem para utilização no Catálogo, notadamente
aquelas referentes às obras.
15. CATALOG
Each Approved Applicant shall receive 02 (two) free
catalogs and can obtain additional exemplars with
a discount of 20%. The Approved Applicants are
responsible for the veracity of all information handed over
for pertinent use in the Catalogs, especially those referring
to the masterpieces.
16. CONVITES
Cada Candidata Aprovada receberá 04 (quatro) crachás
de livre acesso, 20 (vinte) convites PREFERENCIAL VIP, 20
convites VIP e 40 (quarenta) convites para a abertura da
feira. Convites adicionais poderão ser solicitados ao CAEX.
As galerias deverão enviar uma listagem com nome de
artistas para serem cadastrados na lista de convidados para
a abertura oficial. O prazo de envio dessa listagem é até o
dia 30 de maio de 2013.
16. INVITATIONS
Each Approved Applicant shall receive 04 (four)
free access badges, 20 (twenty) VIP PREFERENTIAL
invitations, 20 VIP invitations and 40 (forty) invitations for
the fair opening. Additional invitations might be solicited
to CAEX. The galleries should send a list with the names
of the artists to be included in the guest list for the official
opening. The deadline for the sending of such list is up to

17. PRESTADORES DE SERVIÇO CREDENCIADOS
A ARTRIO é a única responsável pela contratação geral de
serviços de montagem, segurança, ambulatório e limpeza,
não estando nenhum de seus fornecedores autorizado a
contatar as Candidatas diretamente. A ARTRIO não fornece
os contatos das Candidatas para prestadores de serviço.
17. CREDENTIALED SERVICE RENDERERS
ARTRIO is the only one responsible for the main
contracting of assembling, safety, ambulatory and cleaning
services, and none of its suppliers is authorized to contact
the Applicants directly. ARTRIO does not provide the
Applicant´s contacts to service renderers.
18. SEGURO DE RESPONSABILIDADE CIVIL E
ATENDIMENTO MÉDICO
A ARTRIO contrata seguro de responsabilidade civil e danos
pessoais ocorridos nas dependências internas do local do
evento. Haverá uma ambulância U.T.I., com atendimento de
primeiros socorros, durante todos os dias do evento. Haverá
serviço de segurança, 24 horas por dia, a partir do dia 02 de
setembro de 2013, às 10 horas, até o dia 09 de setembro de
2013, às 14 horas.
18. CIVIL RESPONSIBILITY INSURANCE AND MEDICAL
ATTENDANCE
ARTRIO shall contract civil responsibility insurance for
the personal damages which occur within the internal
dependencies of the event location. An I.T.U. ambulance
shall be available with first aid attendance during the event
days. There shall also be available a safety service, 24 hours
per day, starting on September 02nd 2012 at 10 AM until
September 9th 2013, at 2 AM.
19. OBRIGAÇÕES E RESPONSABILIDADES
As Partes obrigam-se a assumir cada qual com todas as
obrigações legais decorrentes das operações que vierem a
realizar em razão da participação no evento. Por não haver
qualquer tipo de interferência da ARTRIO na indicação,
identificação, origem, exposição, transporte e comercialização
das obras de arte expostas, serão de responsabilidade
direta e exclusiva da Candidata Aprovada as obrigações
civis, comerciais, tributárias, trabalhistas, previdenciárias e
securitárias, decorrentes das atividades por ela desenvolvidas
antes, durante e após o evento.
A Candidata Aprovada deverá confeccionar uma Nota Fiscal
de Saída/ Entrada da galeria, referente às obras expostas
na feira. A ARTRIO se exime de qualquer responsabilidade
resultante da falta do referido documento fiscal, ficando a
Candidata Aprovada sujeita às penalidades aplicáveis ao caso.
Eventual indenização devida pela ARTRIO,
independentemente da natureza do evento que lhe der
origem, em nenhuma hipótese excederá o valor total do
contrato firmado entre aquela e a Candidata, ou, na hipótese
de Candidata que não tenha sido aprovada, o limite aqui
previsto corresponderá ao valor da Taxa de Inscrição.
19. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Each one of the parties shall oblige to assume all legal
obligations arising of the operations to be realized in view of
the event participation. As ARTRIO shall not make any kind
of interference concerning the indication, identification,
origin, exposition, transport and commercialization of the
exposed works, Approved Applicant shall be exclusively
and directly responsible for the civil, commercial, taxing,
working and insurance obligations arising of the activities
developed by it before, during and after the event.
The Approved Applicant should issue a Gallery Entry and
Exit Invoice referring to the works exposed in the fair.
ARTRIO is exempted from any liability arising of the lack of
mentioned fiscal document, remaining Approved Applicant
subject to the penalties applicable to the case.
An eventual indemnity owed by ARTRIO, independent of
the event nature that gives origin to it, under no hypothesis
shall exceed the total value of the agreement signed
between ARTRIO and the Applicant. In the hypothesis that
Applicant has not been approved, the limit foreseen herein
shall correspond to the Application Fee value.
20. PENALIDADES
A impontualidade no pagamento de qualquer parcela
referente à locação dos estandes e à Participação na Feira
dará direito à ARTRIO de cobrar uma multa no valor de 10%
(dez por cento) e juros de mora de 1% (um por cento) ao
mês sobre o valor da parcela em atraso, independentemente
de apuração de eventuais perdas e danos suportados, ou
cancelar a participação da galeria em mora.
Caso haja desistência por parte da Candidata Aprovada,
as parcelas já pagas não serão devolvidas e este contrato
será extinto automaticamente, independente de notificação
pela ARTRIO. Nessa hipótese, a ARTRIO poderá relocar o
estande destinado à Candidata Aprovada desistente ou em
mora, a seu exclusivo critério, seguindo os parâmetros de
conveniência e oportunidade.
Constituir-se-ão atos de mera liberalidade, não representando
novação, tampouco remissão de dívida, quaisquer atrasos
ou omissões das ARTRIO quanto ao exercício de quaisquer
direitos decorrentes do presente, os quais poderão ser
exercidos a qualquer tempo.
20. PENALTIES
The non-payment in due time of any parcel referring to
the stand renting and to the Participation in the fair shall
give ARTRIO the right to charge a fine in the value of 10%
(ten percent) and arrears interest of 1% (one percent) per
month on the value of the delayed parcel, independent of
the assessment of eventual supported losses and damages,
or to cancel the participation of the gallery.
If there occurs a desistance by part of Approved Applicant,
the parcels that have already been paid shall not be
returned and present agreement shall be considered
automatically cancelled independent of notification via
ARTRIO. In such hypothesis, ARTRIO might relocate the
stand destined to the desisting or Approved Applicant in
arrears, at its exclusive criterion, following the convenience
and opportunity parameters.
Any delays or omissions by part of ARTRIO shall be
considered acts of mere liberality and do not represent
novation or debt remission concerning the exercise of
any rights arising of present agreement, which might be
exercised anytime.
21. JURISDIÇÃO E FORO
Este instrumento, bem como a Formulário de Inscrição e o
Programas ArtRio 2013 serão regidos pelas leis da República
Federativa do Brasil.
As Partes elegem o Foro central da comarca Rio de Janeiro - RJ
para dirimir quaisquer questões eventualmente decorrentes
deste contrato.
21. JURISDICTION AND FORUM
Present instrument as well as the Application Form and
the ArtRio 2013 Programs shall be governed by the laws
of the Federal Republic of Brazil.
The Parties elect the Central Forum of the city of Rio de
Janeiro - RJ to settle any questions eventually arising of
present agreement.
