The dance spectacular ”Celtic Tiger” will be held in the Festhalle Frankfurt

the boards as dancer and choreographer after the storming success of his

Festivals, markets and live music
The two traditional city festivals, the Frankfurt May Festival (17 May to 28
May) on Liebfrauenberg and the Opernplatzfest culinary festival on Opernplatz (17 May to 26 May), are highly recommended for fresh air fans. Both
festivals are accompanied by live music.
The oldest jazz cellar in Europe is a must for every jazz lover. The stage of
the 54 year-old cellar has seen many of the jazz greats, including Louis
Armstrong, Chet Baker and Dizzy Gillespie. Information about the program

Last, but not least, anyone wanting to spend a few days in Frankfurt after
the Fair should certainly call in at the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang Goethe.
It was there that he was born on February 28, 1749, and where he wrote
literary masterpieces such as ”The Sorrows of Young Werther” (Großer
Hirschgraben 23-25).
