Both are in the forefront of the UK Em scene.
Phil has been with us before with Brendan Pollard and Jez has been a
part of a performance with Create.
I am excited to put these 2 musicians on, both have a great live
playing base in the UK.

This was a good week to make Dreamscape Radio!! Many can be heard in

fingers crossed.

"The Return of Planet X" – Ron Boots and REMY + guests
Dutch leading EM-artists Ron Boots and REMY will perform together in a
special one-off concert at the Grote of St.Bavokerk / the Great Church
of Haarlem on Saturday May 19th, 2012.
At this moment, both musicians work on new and unique music for this
multimedia performance, while negotiations with collaborating artists
are being held.
Stay tuned for more details about the concert, as well as information

I am preparing a special tribute for Klaus Schulze, my music is since
day one inspired by this master.

I've always been in love with the Tangerine Dream sound Rene Splinter
creates with each of his releases. And his latest album
'Singularities' is no exception!. The album will indulge you in a
serene world of electronic music that WILL leave you breathless for a
long time, and make you beg for more of the same. The music that Rene

creates is always leaning towards classic 80's sequencing electronic
music. And with this album he certainly have eclipsed himself. Each
and every track has that stunning melodic and fresh feel to it, and
all of the tracks on this album progresses through in great harmony
and with some of the very best sequencing I've heard in ages!.
The opening track 'Singularities' has to be one of my favorites. It
starts out in a moody yet uplifting way, with some soft melodic synth
pads, which later builds up in a slow moving way with more sequencing
and powerful grooves added to it as the track progresses through. The
best part of this track is after the 8 or 9 minute mark, as all of the
ingredients are all there and really pushes Rene's magical touch to
the limit!. Superb powerful and moving EM of the highest order is what
we have here!. Talk about ear bliss!
Other highly notable tracks are 'Timescapes' and 'The Time Traveller'.
These tracks are marvelous melodic pieces from start to finish. Both
tracks has that truly awesome and infectious sound of the mid 80's.
Think 'Tangerine Dream' and the music from soundtracks such as
'Firestarter' and 'Heartbreakers' and this is what you will hear!.
Personally, I'm a big fan of the 'Firestarter' soundtrack, so I was
very pleased to hear these tracks, along with 'The Lighthouse', which
is yet another remarkable piece that will leave you breathless without
question.
Now, all this said, I seriously have to admit that 'Singularities' is
easily one of the best synth albums I've ever listened to, with the
exception of 'David Helpling & Jon Jenkins' album 'The Crossing'
(2010). Highly recommend album to any fan of quality EM of the highest
order!. Epic ear bliss!

Eric van der Heijden ist wieder da – endlich! Nach seinen glanzvollen
Live-Auftritten im Januar 2011 und 15.10.11 beim Solo-Gig auf dem
E-Day in Oirshot, gibt es Mr. Pianissimo nun auch wieder zum
„Mitnehmen". Nach dem Jahrhundertwerk „DaCapo" folgt nach über 10
Jahren fast ein Neuanfang mit „Dal Segno" (Das Zeichen). Mit diesem
Silberling, für mich die „unabhängige Fortsetzung" von DaCapo, setzt
Eric wirklich ein dickes Ausrufezeichen (!) - so, als wär er nicht weggewesen …
„Jeder sucht nach einem Zeichen
Ein Zeichen der Hoffnung – ein Zeichen der Treue, Glück, Frieden ,

Wahrheit – ein Zeichen der Liebe
Aber: Betrachten und sehen wir den Weg wirklich so, wie wir sollten?
Und verstehen wir wirklich die verschiedenen Zeichen im Universum?
Vielleicht sollten wir eine Universal-Sprache nutzen – und vor allem Fühlen?
Musik könnte diese Sprache sein …
Erzähl´ mir etwas – und es erreicht mich nicht.
Zeige mir etwas und ich werde mich bis morgen daran erinnern.
Lass mich etwas fühlen und ich will mich daran erinnern – für den Rest
meines Lebens. So, lehn dich zurück und relaxe!
Befreie deinen Geist von allen Gedanken
Fokussiere deine Aufmerksamkeit nur auf dein Innerstes
Atme ganz, ganz tief ein
Lausche der Musik und fühle die Zeichen in Dal Segno!
Dieser sehr schöne Einführungstext als Opener eingesprochen von der
Deutschen Caren Weisleder, regt meinen Appetit sofort an. Der sehr
emotionale Text macht Lust auf Mehr. Und, was soll ich sagen, meine
Lust wird vollends befriedigt!
Erics Musik gibt mir das, was ich brauche! Gleich das 2. Stück „The
Inner Self" trifft voll in meine Seele. Leise Glöckchenklänge schweben
auf zarten Melodieteppichen und dringen in mich ein. Meine Härchen
beginnen sich aufzurichten … und dann folgt „Feel" – bei dem Titel ist
Nomen gleich Omen! Ganz zarte, kristallene Töne berühren mich. Sie
ziehen sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Stück. Es mutet fast
klassisch an. Mal klingt es wie ein Weihnachtslied, dann wie Musik in
einem Liebesfilm. Auf jeden Fall ist es Musik, die viele Emotionen in
mir auslöst. Hier erinnert mich Eric fast an Vangelis, nur sehr viel
gefühlvoller und sanfter. – Einfach nur schööön!
Dann reißt mich ein Pfeil aus meinen Träumen und holt mich wieder
zurück ins Hier und Jetzt! Erics „Sign of Life" erinnert mich
entschlossen daran, seinem Album weiter aufmerksam zuzuhören und mich
nicht völlig meinen Gefühlen zu überlassen. Ich finde, nicht nur mit
diesem Titel setzt Eric van der Heijden ein deutliches Lebenszeichen.
Bis dato ist die gesamte Platte „Dal Segno" ein sehr hoffnungsfrohes,
aber auch eindrucksvolles Zeichen dafür, wie sehr mir Erics Musik doch
gefehlt hat, all die Jahre. Ich habe diesen musikalischen Verlust zwar
nicht mittelbar gefühlt, trotzdem saß er unterschwellig wohl immer
tief in meinem Inneren. Drum freue ich mich natürlich sehr, dass ich
nun noch etwa 40 Minuten traumhafter Musik lauschen darf – und
natürlich werde ich nicht enttäuscht!
In Track 5, „Joy of Being" verdeutlicht Eric noch einmal
eindrucksvoll, warum er für mich Mr. Pianissimo Forte ist … Bei
„Beyond the dream lies universal Love" fühle ich mich total an DaCapo

zärtlich die Klaviatur. Mein ganzer Körper ist inzwischen von
Gänsehaut umhüllt – mehr Gefühl geht nicht … wie gesagt, Stück 6
könnte gut „DaCapo2" heißen …
Und dann – kurz vor Schluss – folgt mit „Dal Segno" das 13-minütige
Titelstück. Wieder erinnert mich Eric ein wenig an Vangelis aus seiner
1492-Aera, oder manchmal auch etwas an „Tristan Da Cunha" von Wolfgang
Bock. Ich entfliehe den trüb-nassen Tagen hier einfach und lasse mich
von Erics zarter Musik sanft mit Wind und Wellen treiben. – Tja, und
immer, wenn´s am Schönsten ist, soll man ja bekanntlich aufhören …
Aber Eric setzt noch einen drauf.
Mit seinem Traum-Stück „The Journey" lässt er diese wundervolle CD:
„Dal Segno" noch mit einem druckvoll-melodischen Pianosolo ausklingen.
Allerdings holt er sich zur Vervollständigung dieses Meisterwerkes
noch Frank Dorittke und Cousin Harold als Mitmusiker an die Seite.
Gitarre, Drums und Piano von drei Meistern ihres Faches gespielt –
Musikliebhaber-Herz, was willst du mehr?
Für mich hat sich Eric van der Heijden mit „Dal Segno" ein weiteres
Denkmal gesetzt. Es ist Musik, die aus dem Herzen kommt und die Seele
tief berührt – zumindest bei mir. Ich bin fast der Welt entrückt und
ganz tief in der Musik versunken. Viel Melancholie macht sich breit,
aber es wird nie depressiv. Im Gegenteil, Dal Segno ist
lebensbejahend, wohltuend und äußerst emotionsgeladen. Über 70 Minuten
Gänsehaut – dass hat bis dato noch keiner bei mir geschafft. Ich bin
Eric super dankbar für diese wundervolle Musik und von „Dal Segno"
einfach total angetan …
Es fällt mir richtig schwer, wieder aufzutauchen. Ich kann immer noch
nicht fassen, was ich da gerade gehört habe. Gibt es so etwas
wirklich? – Traumhaft – Musik von einem anderen Stern und doch zum
(Be)greifen nah!
Danke an Eric van der Heijden und an Groove Unlimited, die diese
Emotionsbombe ermöglicht haben – für mich das Album des Jahres 2011!
