Miles of yne sand beaches and crystal clear waters, pristine cliffs and the Rostocker Heide bordering the Baltic Sea provide ideal conditions for tourism and a relaxing holiday in a therapeutic climate. To ensure that visitors and local residents alike feel at home, the town authorities implement various measures during high season to improve cleanliness and order. In addition to numerous waste baskets and a sophisticated waste disposal system, we also have many cleaning teams out and about using special cleaning technology on the beaches and in the resorts. However, the best way of protecting the environment is not to create waste, or to dispose of it properly immediately. This lea{et provides information about ways of preventing, separating and disposing of waste in our resorts and their environs. Please contribute to cleanliness and order by keeping the good of the environment in mind. Help to avoid creating rubbish, and keep the Baltic Sea free of plastic waste. Thank you very much! I hope your stay is relaxing and full of pleasant experiences.
