Bilder funktionieren wie eine eigene Sprache, die Sie in einer Vielzahl von Situationen nutzen können – zum Beispiel, um im Workshop Kompliziertes zu strukturieren, in Meetings Schwieriges auszusprechen oder in Konferenzen Abstraktes
greifbar zu machen. Der Appell, in Workshops, Meetings und Konferenzen grundsätzlich mehr mit Bildern zu arbeiten, ist nicht neu. Doch jetzt, so scheint es uns, ist
die Zeit gekommen: Visualisierung bzw. »Visual Facilitating« heißt die Disziplin, die
mit Bildern Brücken baut und somit Verstehen, Denken und Lernen beflügelt.
Nutzen Sie den bikablo® 1 als Einstieg in die Welt der Bilder, als Nachschlagewerk,
Zeichenschule oder einfach als Inspirationsquelle. Zu den Nutzungsrechten der
Illustrationen in diesem Buch siehe Seite 132.

Pictures work like a language, which you can use in a number of situations – for example
when structuring complicated things at a workshop, when expressing difficult things
at a meeting or when making the abstract touchable at conferences. The need to basically
work more with pictures at workshops, meetings and conferences isn’t new. But now it
seems that the time has come: visualization, or »visual facilitating« is the name of the
game, where pictures help build bridges and understanding, thinking and lerning strive.
Let bikablo® 1 introduce you to the world of pictures, as reference material, drawing school
or simply a source of inspiration. For copyright details of the illustrations in this book please
see page 132.

4. Nutzen Sie Farbe. Als Ordnungssystem und zur Hervor hebung von Inhalten:
Meist reichen ein schwarzer Marker und zwei bis vier zusätzliche Farben, um aus
Bleiwüsten attraktive FlipChart-Plakate zu machen. (s. Seite 14)
4. Use colour. As classification system or to highlight certain contents: most of the
time, all you need to turn a cluttered grey page into and attractive flip chart poster is
one black marker and two to four coloured ones. (see page 14)
5. Kopieren Sie. Der bikablo® 1 ist Ihre erste Fundgrube (Zu den Nutzungsrechten
der Illustrationen in diesem Buch siehe Seite 131 ). Zeichnen Sie nicht von der Natur
ab (das ist oft schwierig), sondern von vorhandenen Zeichnungen und
Piktogrammen: Verkehrsschilder, Leitsysteme, Icons auf Ihrem Computer, etc.
Ihre Motive finden Sie auch über Internet-Bildersuchmaschinen. Verwenden Sie
immer die einfachsten!
5. Copy. bikablo® 1 is your first stop for ideas (for copyright details of the illustrations in this book please see page 131). Don’t draw from what you see around you
(which is often difficult). Instead use the drawings and pictograms offered: traffic
signs, guidance systems, icons on your computer etc. Your motifs can also be found
using internet image search engines. Always use the simplest pictures!
6. Kombinieren Sie Symbole, um Bedeutung zu erzeugen. Finden Sie (z. B.
über Mindmapping) Synonyme, die ein Bild in sich tragen: Authentizität =
Offenherzigkeit = offen + herzig = Fenster + Herz. So erzeugen Sie für komplexe
Sachverhalte einfache, merkbare Piktogramme mit Aha-Effekt.

6. Combine symbols to create a definition. Find (for example using a mind map) synonyms, which can be expressed as a picture: authenticity = open-hearted = open
+ hearted = window + heart. This way you can turn complex issues into simple,
memorable pictograms that make you say»Wow!«.

Sie Schattierungen anlegen (z. B. Neuland BigOne®).
Shadow with the wide grey or coloured marker
(for example Neuland BigOne®).
Mit breitem Marker oder Pastellkreiden kolorieren Sie das
Motiv. Pastellkreiden können Sie mit einem Taschentuch zu
einer Fläche verwischen. Wichtig: Mit Haarspray fixieren!
Fill-in with the wide coloured marker or the pastel crayons.
Pastel crayons can be spread over the surface using a
handkerchief. Important: set with hairspray!
