MAM - Maroc Artist Meeting is a meeting of artists living in Morocco and the
rest of the World, who want to deal with their living environments and their
place in performing arts in a critical way.
All artists will work, experiment, live, discuss and network in the fields of
performance, movement, music and other artform, for a period of two
weeks. During the third week a smaller group will travel in the countryside
and work with local habitants.
MAM doesn't provide a program, but a frame for collaborative work in order
to discover new formats and their potential contents - through practise as
well as in theoretical discourse.
MAM is about active participation and co-organisation. It gives the
possibility to discover creative means of self-empowerment and selfresponsibility.
MAM takes place in the heart of Marrakech in Morocco, where we will live
together for the whole period of time.
Apply now for mam scholarship. Travel costs to morocco are not funded.

darstellenden Künste
MAM marrakech 7.-20.4.14 (künstlerischer Austausch)
MAM on the road 21.-27.4.14 (soziale Reise)
MAM - Maroc Artist Meeting ist ein Treffen für in Marokko und Europa
lebende Künstler, die sich grenzüberschreitend und kritisch mit sich, ihrem
Umfeld und der performativen Kunst auseinandersetzen wollen.
Alle Künstler werden für zwei Wochen gemeinsam in Marrakesch arbeiten,
experimentieren, leben, reisen und sich vernetzen. Während der dritten
Wochen wird eine kleinere Gruppe in ländliche Gebiete reisen und mit
Einheimischen zusammenarbeiten.
MAM gibt kein Programm vor, sondern bietet einen Rahmen, in dem durch
gemeinsame Arbeitsorganisation aktuelle Formate und Inhalte, praktisch wie
theoretisch, gefunden werden.
MAM geht es daher um aktive und autonome Mitgestaltung,
partizipatorische Potenziale sowie kreative Mittel der Selbstermächtigung
und Selbstverantwortung.
MAM findet im Herzen von Marrakech in Marokko statt wo alle gemeinsam
wohnen, und auch abends gemeinsam essen.
Bewerbe dich jetzt für das MAM Stipendium. Die Reise nach Marokko wird
nicht übernommen. Interesse für MAM-on the road bitte gesondert
formulieren.

Maroc Artist Meeting - rencontre interculturelle dans les Arts
de spectacle
MAM à Marrakech du 7 au 20/04/2014 (échange artistique)
MAM en voyage du 21 au 27/04/2014 (voyage artistique et social)
MAM - Maroc Artist Meeting est une rencontre entre artistes, vivant
au Maroc et à l’International qui souhaitent porter un regard
transdisciplinaire et critique sur eux-mêmes, leur environnement et
les arts du spectacle.
20 artistes (danseur, musicien, plasticien, performeur et autres) vont
travailler, expérimenter, partager, créer, développer un réseau et
vivre ensemble pendant 2 semaines à la medina de Marrakech. Durant la
troisième semaine, un petit groupe de 10 artistes vont voyager
ensemble à la rencontre d’un public marocain.
MAM n'a pas de programme défini, il offre juste une plateforme
permettant aux participants de développer un processus de travail et
un contenu de manière collaborative, aussi bien, sur le plan pratique
que théorique.
MAM se base sur une participation active et de co-organisation
facilitant ainsi une émancipation et une responsabilité personnelle
artistiques.
Les frais de transports jusqu’au Maroc ne sont pas pris en charge.
