UNIDENTIFIED. After hearing AJO, I am paying more attention to the ``Part 15 band`` for CW beacons. They are so weak that I can hear them only at

Caros colegas, Por motivo do meu pouquíssimo conhecimento em eletrônica (minhas sinceras desculpas), gostaria de saber se o amplificador de rf
DXCB V1B funciona também como um eliminador de ruídos de rf na prática do radioescuta?
É que a pouco, vi um vídeo de um amplificador deste acoplado a antena loop blindada DXCB para ondas curtas; igual a que tenho (sem o
amplificador, claro), além de uma dipolo meia banda sete MHz que uso sempre em escutas de OC, a qual capta a propagação das emissoras
fortemente, gerando uma espécie de ruídos, portanto gostaria de saber se um amplificador deste resolveria este problema,nesta dipolo?

Estimados: Estuve varios días en la provincia de Tierra del Fuego, habiendo tenido ocasión de hacer algunas experiencias DX totalmente nuevas
para mi, como la escucha desde el Canal de Beagle en una embarcación en tránsito, o una acampada DX en las orillas del Lago Fagnano (a pocos
centenares de metros de la localidad de Tolhuin) o incluso en FM desde un avión en vuelo.
Los resultados han sido muy interesantes.

75 Aniversario De Radio Linares (Jaén)
Tres cuartos de siglo atrás sale al aire EAJ 37 Radio Linares; el 22 de mayo de 1933 Alfonso Quílez López recibió la licencia para operar con 200
vatios, fue autorizada por el decreto del 8 de diciembre de 1932 y emitió en la onda media por la banda de los 200 metros, 1500 kHz, los primeros
estudios se instalaron en la calle Campanario número 6 en donde la familia había tenido una farmacia, muy cerquita de la Parroquia de Santa
María; Quílez era practicante y radioaficionado que operaba una emisora autorizada con la señal EAR-123. Para su aventura radiofónica contó con
su sobrino Manuel Quílez y los amigos Antonio Soler e Ignacio Francoso. Inicialmente apenas fueron dos horas de radio, el pistoletazo oficial se
realizó con un programa navideño basado en música coral, bailables y comentarios.

13785, July 31 at 1258, 1324, 1351 chex, VIRI 9-hour Arabic service southward from Kamalabad suffers from a carrier on hi side making a wavering
het, partly matching G4 on my keyboard = 394 Hz. But there`s another pitch, so the carrier may have its own tone modulation. Is someone really

The Secret To Golden Voices
ABC Local Radio recently published a story that may be of particular interest to AM aficionados. Scientists at the University of Sydney have conducted
unique research into the secret of a good radio voice.
Using a high-speed video-endoscopy camera to record the motion of the vocal cords in the throats of 16 male radio broadcasters, the team found the
subjects had faster opening and closing vocal folds.
Speech pathologist Dr Cate Madill said this suggests these professionals may have better control of the tension in their vocal folds while speaking.
It is now hoped that the secrets behind the sonorous endowment of presenters ‘on the wireless’ may provide clues on how to train new golden voices.

RNA transmitter. This time they are so strong that each one damages plus/minus 5 kHz adjacent channels too. When I was monitoring SRI LANKA
[q.v.] 11905, bothered by crackle circa 11903, which I suspect as a further spur from 11780, indicating each is slightly more than 30 kHz apart. Each
has no definite carrier to pinpoint.
Next check 0532 August 1: still nasty spurs every ~30 kHz, 11660, 11690, 11720, 11750, 11810, 11840, and 11870 under WEWN (Glenn Hauser,

WASHINGTON (01 de agosto de 2014) - O Conselho de Governadores Broadcasting divulgado hoje "estar onde o público está", um relatório que
encontrou rádio de ondas curtas a ser essencial para ouvintes em países-alvo, mas de impacto marginal na maioria dos mercados. As
recomendações do relatório veio depois de uma revisão abrangente, fundamentada na pesquisa com sede em público, da eficácia de ondas curtas
como uma plataforma de distribuição de mídia internacional dos Estados Unidos.
"Rádio de ondas curtas continua a ser um meio importante para um grande número de pessoas em alguns países para receber notícias e
informações", disse Matt Armstrong, que presidiu o Comitê Especial do BBG sobre o Futuro da Shortwave Broadcasting, que emitiu o relatório. "No
entanto, muitos dos públicos-alvo dos nossos redes mudaram-se para novas plataformas, incluindo TV, FM e mídia digital. Este relatório traça um
caminho a seguir para a mídia internacional dos EUA para permanecer acessível para todos os nossos públicos ".
Evidências baseadas em pesquisas de tendências de mídia sugere que o aumento da disponibilidade e acessibilidade de televisão, dispositivos
móveis e acesso à Internet levou ao declínio da utilização de ondas curtas em todo o mundo. Ainda assim, o relatório conclui que o público

Ao mesmo tempo, as recomendações do comitê deixar claro que o BBG terá de continuar a reduzir ou eliminar transmissões em ondas curtas, onde
há um ou outro público-mínimo ou que o público não é uma prioridade da política externa dos EUA. Também ratifica reduções que foram feitas em
sinais redundantes em 2013 e novos cortes nas transmissões que foram feitas em 2014.
Mesmo com essas reduções recentes, o BBG faz programas em 35 dos seus 61 línguas disponíveis de transmissão em ondas curtas, onde há uma
razão estratégica para o fazer.
O relatório observa que não há evidências de que o aumento de uso de ondas curtas durante as crises. Nesses momentos, o público continuar a usar
suas plataformas preferenciais ou procurar ferramentas anti-censura para ajudá-los a navegar para a notícias on-line, incluindo ferramentas de
evasão de firewall ou mídia off-line, incluindo pen drives e DVDs.
O relatório do Comitê de ondas curtas será discutido na reunião pública do Conselho de Governadores de Radiodifusão 13 de agosto. O relatório

Termina definitivamente la emisión radial de Radio Nederland por OC
Estimados Socios y Amigos de RNW
Nuevamente estamos inmersos en una reorganización ante la necesidad de ajustar prioridades y aprendiendo a ser más competitivos después del
análisis de estos dos años transcurridos desde el tránsito de la vieja Radio Nederland a la nueva RNW. Necesitamos fortalecer la efectividad de las
plataformas que más nos han permitido llegar a las audiencias que nos enfocamos (los jóvenes), tal como las redes sociales y las plataformas
online, dando una atención diferenciada a los países que son prioritarios. En esa línea es que estamos definiendo las nuevas herramientas y la
nueva estrategia de comunicación. Esto significará una renovación de las plataformas online y el trabajo con nuevos formatos. También aprovechar
mejor el personal para enfrentar los nuevos retos.
Por eso queremos anunciarles el fin de la producción de El Toque Radio desde el 2 de agosto por todas las vías de distribución que teníamos,
incluida la onda corta. Desde el lunes 21 de julio y hasta el último programa del 1 de agosto les vamos a ofrecer una repetición de los mejores
programas de El Toque Audio a lo largo de casi dos años. No obstante y a pesar de los nuevos cambios, queremos mantener la producción de audios
o de programas radiales en momentos determinados, cuando estimemos que podremos marcar la diferencia por la relevancia de los temas a tratar y
su trascendencia para los públicos meta. Vamos a continuar también con la producción de El Toque Sexual todos los Viernes, una colaboración con
Hablemosdesexo.com que ha tenido mucho éxito hasta el momento.

Las vías son ahora digitales en esoecial para la juventud que es el público objeto de destino (target).
Medios como difusión de mails via USB o redes intranet en Cuba y la blogosfera cubana específicamente son caminos de comunicación más
eficaces visto el derrumbe de los sistemas de información via Onda Corta.
Sin duda que no es el ideal. Pero es lo que es posible hoy en día en estas circunstancias.

También sirve para lo que escribo hoy. Hace algunas horas terminó definitivamente sus transmisiones por onda corta la Radio Nederland de
Holanda. Es verdad que desde el 2012, cuando sufrió su peor recorte presupuestario y de programación en toda su historia, solo había quedado un
vago recuerdo de la otrora gigante de la onda corta, bajo el nombre de El Toque. Este espacio de tan solo 15 minutos llegó a su fin anoche,
terminando una agonía de dos años. Sabíamos que era cosa de tiempo para la RNW se convirtiera definitivamente en parte de la historia de la
radiodifusión internacional. Emblemáticas emisoras de onda corta han desaparecido del dial y esa tendencia seguirá. El "internet del pasado"
como me gusta decirle a la onda corta ya será efectivamente cosa del pasado. Para mi esta banda de radio era una ventana al mundo, a la cultura y
la tecnología de otros lugares que en forma de sonido se materializaban en mi receptor de onda corta, sin más obstáculos que los que yo me

pusiera. Cuando fue desmantelada la enorme sede de Radio Nederland en Hilversum en el 2012, le pedí a Jaime Báguena algún recuerdo de esas
dependencias. A los pocos meses, me llegó este banderín de la Happy Station que por años colgó en algunas de esas oficinas la sede de la
radiodifusión holandesa. Aparte del banderín me quedan de recuerdo las incontables horas de programación oída desde niño y que día a día me
regalaban un nuevo conocimiento.

RUSSIA WINTER TIME IN RUSSIA.
President returned to "winter time". Russia on October 26, will live in the winter time - clocks in most regions will be set back one hour. Relevant law
signed today by President Vladimir Putin. Recall the transition to daylight saving time was repealed in summer 2011, but has changed the opinion of
citizens - in late 2013 Untranslate arrows supported only 32 percent of Russians. July 9 Federation Council almost unanimously odobrilzakon a

program (which is in Spanish!) at 15-18, and this time he gets it right: plus 18-19 in Arabic and Creole; must have noted my correxion. Also says the
new FM 102.5 significantly inaugurated May 1 barely covers Habana, range out to 40-50 km.
Says the RadioCuba transmitter site on 11760, which is an historic RHC frequency from its earliest days in 1961y as `Ònda Corta Experimental
Cubana``, is the #1, Bauta in Artemisa. Meanwhile I have switched to 11760 itself as the appropriate frequency to listen to this about 11760, only
to find it still has CCI in Spanish from Iran! And just about zero-beat, which at least speaks well, for a change, of the frequency accuracy, if not the
frequency choice, of both stations. But Iran is supposedly moving away! Q.v.

in the `clear` but also weaker than it has been. It is too early to conclude RNA is deliberately trying to rid itself of its monstruous spurious output

** CUBA. 6030, UT Monday Aug 4 at 0530, DentroCuban Jamming Command noise is only very lite pulsing, much less than usual when R. Martí is

5980, however, another silent R. Martí frequency is now occupied by wall-of-noise jamming at 0531 August 4.
9550 and 9820, August 4 at 1303 and still 1342, RHC frequencies continue to be active, but weak in QRM, identifiable by echoey // to bigsig on

** OKLAHOMA. RF 31 & 32, August 4 at 1450 UT, I find that KXOK-LD Enid, ``TVOK`` audio modulation has miraculously appeared via both my
Zenith set-top-box DTV converters. I have not rescanned or done anything to get the sound back; I did mention this problem to the contract engineer
in charge a couple weeks ago, who then assured me the sound was OK, but he may have made some transmission change now to get it back to me.
Wait --- recheck at 1604 UT, sound is gone again except for some hum, variable! Maybe working on it?
Still *nothing* but the same few infomercials for exercising, comedy roasts; and still nothing but silent color bars on 31.2 and 31.3 altho labeled MFOX and Azteca. Contract for those expired with change of ownership. What a sorry excuse for a TV station (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** PAPUA NEW GUINEA [and non]. 3205, Aug 4 at 1102, YL talk on very poor signal, maybe Tok Pisin rather than straight English; 3260 sounds like
the same, but both too weak for // matching on second receiver. 3385 also has non-// YL talk of a lower pitched voice, with signal up to poor level;
at 1113 still talk, no music on any of them. Copy is tough with storm QRN level.

Anyhow, these three frequencies match the 3 August report to ARDXC from Craig Seager, visiting Berry Creek, Northern Territory, as the `ònly active
PNG stations on SW`` (plus 7325 WRL). I also hear algo on 3325 which is probably Indonesia, confirmed active the past week by Atsunori Ishida, tho
today`s monitoring is not yet posted (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. 17775, Monday Aug 4 at 1338, JBA carrier, and 1555 usual fair level signal and modulation in Spanish from KVOH, back in biz, after

provide broadcasts via our website and other formats, but these too will cease.
We’d like to thank the organisations and individuals who have supported us for the past 13 years and the contributors to our programs who have

In particular we’d like to thank our listeners, who have shared their lives, hopes and dreams and helped us to tell the story of Zimbabwe’s sad decline

Radio Nikkei es una estación de onda corta comercial japonesa cuya supervivencia me sigue asombrando. Sea como fuere, se trata de una de mis
emisoras preferidas. Me resulta además una clara muestra de la apertura progresiva de la ruta de propagación por el Pacífico hacia Oriente: primero
se la comenza a escuchar en 9595 khz, más tarde en 6055 kHz, y finalmente, en esta frecuencia, 3925 kHz, que a pesar de un QRM de una estación
utilitaria que no determino cual es, da buena señal aquí por el Río de la Plata.

Queridos amigos, les invitamos a participar en un nuevo concurso dotado con premios, la segunda edición del “Festival Internacional de las
Orquestas de Radio, RadiRO”. El concurso está dedicado a un acontecimiento musical ünico en Europa, que trae a Bucarest, al escenario de la Sala
de conciertos de la Radiodifusión Rumana y en directo en las emisoras públicas de radio, a cinco orquestas famosas, así como a solistas y directores
de orquesta de fama mundial.
Entre el 20 y el 27 de septiembre, Bucarest albergará la segunda edición del “Festival Internacional de las Orquestas de Radio” – RadiRO. El
acontecimiento está organizado por Radio Rumanía, una emidora amiga y patrocinadora de la música clásica aún desde 1928 cuando difundía su
primer programa radiofónico.
En 2014, en la segunda edición darán conciertos en Bucarest la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio de Finlandia, la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio de
Praga, la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio de Stuttgart, la Orquesta Nacional de Francia y la Orquesta Nacional de la Radiodifusión Rumana, bajo la
batuta de directores famosos, como son Joshua Weilerstein, Ondrej Lenárd, Stéphane Deneve, Case Scaglione, Vassily Sinaisky, Tiberiu Soare y
Cristian Mandeal.
Solistas virtuosos van a protagonizar las noches de “RadiRO”, entre ellos, el pianistra Jonathan Biss, la soprano Katarina Jovanovic, el pianista Jan
Simon, los violinistas Nikolaj Znaider y Vadim Gluzman, junto con grandes artistas rumanos: la mezzosoprano Ruxandra Donose, el pianista Horia
Mihail o el violinista Alexandru Tomescu. El director honorífico de esta edición, es el director de orquesta rumano, Cristian Mandeal, proporciona
prestigio y valor europeo al Festival “RadiRO”.

Esta mañana 30 de julio pude escuchar esta emisora en 690 KHz. sobre las 10:30 UTC, con bastante dificultad por la interferencia de R.Nihuil en
680 KHz. La programación era diferenciada respecto LRA1 y con frecuentes menciones a la "Radio Pública" y con noticias de Salta. No se
escuchaba LV del Comahue en la fq. A propósito de Radio Nacional, la filial de Mendoza ya está en el aire pero con problemas: tiene cortes y me da
la impresión que está transmitiendo con menos potencia porque los canales adyacentes sufren bastante menos interferencia que la usual.
El dia 01 de Agosto, El panorama de MW mostraba poca propagación pero también poco ruido por esta zona. Lo
más destacable de lo escuchado, entre las 09:45 y 10:00 UTC) fue lo siguiente:
970 R.Lautaro, Talca con muy buena señal e identificación completa (se nota que LRA6 esta transmitiendo con menos potencia)
640 R.ACLO (tentativa) dió la temperatura en Tarija y dió informaciones de Tarija, luego creció la interferencia de la emisora rionegrina que opera en
la fq.
AM1490 Córdoba, 03 Agosto, El sábado a la noche se escuchaba una emisora en 1490 transmitiendo un programa en vivo y anunciaba un paralelo
en entre Radio General Paz y esta emisora en 1490. Había bastante desvanecimiento e interferencia (es una fq. usualmente ocupada por emisoras
chilenas y eventualmente Huinca Renanco), por lo que no pude identificar completamente cuando identificaba la emisora de 1490. Una posibilidad
es que fuera Radio Vida (no la escuchado nunca) y otra un dúplex con Huinca Renancó .

Estimados amigos, a la espera que todos se encuentren muy bien, y con los deseos de que cada uno se encuentren bien.
En esta oportunidad para informarles del estado de la pagina, como siempre y ya no es ninguna noveda, la atualizacion va lenta, claro, lo
mismo de siempre, la falta de tiempo, pero poco a poco se van completando, espero para el próximo numero decirles que esta mejor y mas
actualizada, esos son los deseos, pero soy conciente que la realidad a veces nos juega una pala pasada, eta bien armada asi que únicamente ahora
es cuestión de ir integrando los datos, para posteriormente si, ver si cada uno de los link en las diferentes secciones funcionan correctamente, pero
claro esta, hay que ir actualizándola a medidaque los boletines salgan a la luz.
Ahora decirle que este es el numero 147, y no como figuraba el próximo pasado, que gracias al amigo Antônio Avelino da Silva desde Brasil
hizo notar el error, pero bueno, ya corrigido se esta subiendo el presente boletín, poco a poco vamos lento, esperemos que valga la pena, todo indica
