Cuca Roseta é uma das mais aclamadas vozes da nova
geração do Fado. O seu novo disco chama-se “Riu” e
tem produção de Nelson Motta, prestigiado compositor brasileiro. Neste novo trabalho, Cuca Roseta
apresenta-nos um fado virado para o mundo e onde
se notam todas as influências musicais do mesmo.
Com um fado mais leve, mais melódico, mas intimista,
Cuca Roseta dá um passo em frente na composição,
através de parcerias com grandes músicos nacionais e
internacionais. É este mesmo fado que vai poder ouvir
ao vivo, em dois espetáculos únicos, juntando ainda
a Orquestra de Sopros do Algarve da Academia de
Música de Lagos, para que a emoção seja ainda maior.
Cuca Roseta is one of the most acclaimed of the new
generation of Fado singers. Her new album ‘Riu’ was
produced by renowned Brazilian songwriter Nelson
Motta. On this new album, Cuca Roseta presents a
Fado which turned to face the world and was influenced by its music. With a lighter, more melodic and
more intimate sound, Cuca Roseta goes a step further
into songwriting by working together with great Portuguese and foreign musicians. This is the Fado you’ll
hear in two unique live performances, joined by the
Algarve Wind Orchestra of the Lagos Music Academy,
who will add more excitement to the show.

O “Verão em Tavira” é um programa que responde aos

programa multidisciplinar onde divertimento e lazer
se harmonizam com o acesso ao conhecimento e enriquecimento pessoal.
The programme ‘Summer in Tavira’ was designed to
meet residents’ expectations and the demand for cultural events by thousands of people from many nationalities who holiday in Tavira. This is also the annual
opportunity to show and get to know Portuguese
culture in its various forms. The multidisciplinary and
multicultural nature of the event means that entertainment and leisure are paired with knowledge and
personal enrichment.

Carlos Dugos nasceu em Lisboa, em 1942 e os seus
primeiros trabalhos de pintura datam de 1957. No
ano seguinte foi viver para Lourenço Marques, então
capital de Moçambique. Aí frequentou a escola de
Arte - Núcleo de Arte, dirigida pelo pintor João Ayres,
trabalhando na companhia de Malangatana, José Júlio,
Álvaro Passos e outros artistas moçambicanos. Por essa
época, expôs várias vezes, individual e coletivamente
em Lourenço Marques e Joanesburgo. Regressou definitivamente a Portugal em 1967, instalando-se em
Lisboa onde montou atelier, dedicando-se em especial
ao apuro técnico do óleo.

Carlos Dugos was born in Lisbon in 1942 and his first
works date from 1957. The following year he moved
to Lourenço Marques, the former colonial capital of
Mozambique. He attended the Art School ‘Núcleo de
Arte’, headed by the painter João Ayres. During this
time he worked with Malangatana, José Júlio, Álvaro
Passos and other Mozambican artists. This is also
when he often exhibited his artwork, both individually
and jointly in Lourenço Marques and Johannesburg. In
1967 he moved back to Portugal indefinitely. He settled in Lisbon where he also set up his studio, dedicating his time to improving his technique with oils.

A Associação Beliaev Centro Cultural, com o apoio da Companhia de Dança
do Algarve, organiza, desde 2000, workshops de dança, contemplando,
entre outras, as disciplinas de Dança Clássica, Dança de Caráter, Dança
Contemporânea, Criação Coreográfica, Hip-hop e Broadway. Para encerrar
estes workshops, realiza-se uma Gala com os participantes das várias disciplinas frequentadas.
Since the year 2000, Associação Beliaev Centro Cultural, with the support of
the Algarve Dance Company, has been organizing dance workshops, which
include Classical, Character and Contemporary Dances, Choreographic Creation, Hip-hop and Broadway. The closing gala features various participants
performing the dances learned.
