Tom Russell and Tom Goldspink (“the Two Toms of Port Robinson”) have a long
association with Port Robinson. Tom Russell is an instructor at Niagara
College and Tom Goldspink is a retired accounting executive. Both are keenly
interested in Welland Canal history and are writing a history of the community.
The rise and fall of Port Robinson is linked to its relationships with the Canal.
Mike Babiski, who lives in Grimsby, is a commercial diver and a collector of
diving memorabilia and equipment. Mike is an enthusiastic speaker and will
bring a selection of his collection to illustrate his talk.
