VISA INSTRUCTION
1.
Consular hours 10:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. in all working days. Office closes Saturday, Sunday and
announced official holiday. Minimum 3 Days required for processing of visa.
2.
All visas are issued according to the stated PURPOSE OF VISIT which must be clearly stated
by the applicant. Failure to do so shall inevitably incur delays.
3.
Do check your passport whether it is valid for over 6 Months from the date of Visa.
4.
The Visas issued by the Embassy or Consulate only give right to ENTER CAPE VERDE.
5.
To obtain a Visitor Visa to enter Cape Verde, all applicants must submit in person or by
mail (DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED)

An ENTRY Visa granted in following categories :

TOURIST VISA granted to those who are bonafied tourist of good standing and conduct for a
stay in CAPE VERDE upto 60 days.

All fees shall be paid by Cash / Bank Draft in favour of “Consulate of Cape Verde” payable at
New Delhi . Visa fees shall be non refundable.

A person entering CAPE VERDE must have in his possession travelers cheques or in cash
convertible money reasonable to the extend of stay or credit card.
9.
One who applies for a kind of visa should accept to take benefit to other kind of visa as
applicable upon arrival in CAPE VERDE.
10.
HEALTH REQUIRMENT (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Person holding passports of or having residence in countries in the Yellow Fever areas must
produce a valid international health certificate for Yellow Fever at point of entry into CAPE
VERDE.
