Composer, mixer, producer and performer, JP Coimbra was born in Lisbon, in 1973. He
started his musical career as a drummer with the Portuguese Star Pedro Abrunhosa &
Bandemónio. But soon he become interested in writing songs and produce them, so

at 2002 he debut MESA a pop and electronic group formed in Oporto (Portugal). In
2004, they won the Golden Globe in Portugal in the category for Best Group of the
JOB TYPE
year and also in the Dance-club Music Awards,the award of Best Record of the year.

Also in 2004, the MTV Europe Music Awards nominated MESA in the category of ''Best
