General Info
The Meet & Greet will be held at 18:30 in Quartel de
Santo Ovídio on the 20th of June.
There will be a shuttle bus leaving Praça da Batalha at
18:00 for the Meet & Greet in Quartel de Santo Ovídio
and returning after the event.
Conferences will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of June
starting at 09:00.

A shuttle bus will be provided as transport to IAMPS
2016 everyday leaving Praça da Batalha at 08:30 and
returning after the day’s conferences.
Smoking is not permitted in the conference area.

How to Get to “Quartel da Serra do Pilar” (Unidade de Apoio do Comando Pessoal):
By Taxi – Fares are standardized and you should ask for the cost of the trip in advance.
During day time and with no briefcases the cost of the trip should be approximately 11€.
By Subway – The nearest metro station is São Bento (look to the map in this page).
From there you take the Yellow Line (D) in direction to the end station named Santo
Ovídio. Before you get to that final station you should exit at Jardim do Morro and
proceed to the military base indicated below. Note: you must purchase the metro tickets
at automated vending machines (which have the option to display the instructions in
English) in the metro station and these tickets must be validated every time you enter the
metro system. Also note that that you will get a card named “Andante” the first time you
purchase a fare and this card is reusable and rechargeable.

How to Get from the Airport to Praça da Batalha:
By Taxi – Fares are standardized and you should ask for the cost of the trip in advance.
Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Terminal. The trip should take between 25 to 30
minutes and the baggage cost may be approximately 30 to 50€.
By Subway – The airport has a metro station called Aeroporto. From there you enter
the Purple Line (E) and follow it until the metro station called Bolhão. From the moment
you enter in the metro until your exit in Bolhão the trip should last about 27 minutes.
From the exit of the metro station you will go through Rua Santa Catarina until you
arrive at Praça da Batalha (total distance of 600 meters). From there you have the
meeting point for the shuttle bus, the military officer’s club and the Hotel Quality Inn
Porto. The whole trip should last around 40 minutes and cost 1,85€ (metro ticket).
