EDITORIAL
Dear Readers
At the beginning of each year there
is always an uncertainty how to go
forward.
In our company the level of
incoming orders is reasonable,
about 2.3 million euros, but there is
a number of uncertainties, including
lack of investment and the need to
solve the problem of money
transfer from Angola , all of this
aggravated by the global finance
crisis that makes us believe that
2016 will be even more difficult that
the previous year , nevertheless we
are prepared for the challenge.
In fact I think that only a
coordinated public investment with
some structural reforms is likely to
put end to this situation in which
even the interest rates are
negative.
On the reverse side you will find the
certificate

Because it is quite relevant we are going, in future issues of the Newsletter,
disclose the document from Direcção Geral de Energia e Geologia (December
2012) and prepared by Technical Committee for Electro technical
Standardization -CTE64- Insulation Classes in Switchboards (answers to
frequently asked questions)
13. In a class I "QE"(Entry Switchboard) with a DR
(Residual Device) in the incoming, could be considerer
class II "QE" ?
No. The protection with DR does not make the "QE"
switchboard class I in a Class II switchboard.
However, the protection against indirect contact could
be performed, among other measures, by protection
with DR or a class II insulation.
See section 413.1 & 413.2 of the RTIEBT
14. The Technical Rules (RTIEBT) requires the use of
"QE" class II in the electrical system TT?
No. In the TT system the "QE" must be only be class II
insulation if there is not protection against indirect
contact made by a DR in the incoming of the
switchboard.
See section 531.2.4 & 801.5.9 of the RTIEBT
