 Develop and facilitate professional development trainings for educators in partner districts, and present at California

 Lead curriculum writer for the initiative, creating lesson plans for integration of CaliforniaColleges.edu in various
formats for 6th-12th grade students.

the scholarship. Responsible for expanding nomination network and increasing nominations nearly 100% from 20082009 exceeding the site’s goal for size. Organized and managed student recruitment process.
 Managed Pre-Collegiate Training Program that focuses on leadership, diversity and cross-cultural communication,
team building and academic excellence.
 Managed university partnerships with college presidents, deans of admission and financial aid, provosts, academic
deans etc. Trained and supported Posse campus liaisons and mentors in Posse activities.
 Ensured a persistence and graduation rate of over 90% and strong average GPA for LA Scholars. Provided
counseling for academic and non-academic issues for all Scholars.
 Managed volunteer recruitment for all programmatic events and developed and facilitated associated trainings.
 Collaborated with LA Site Director to represent Posse in the community.
