40 mm L/70 Ammunition
A EMGEPRON produz munição
naval de médio e grosso calibres,
conforme padrões de qualidade que
atendem a requisitos e especificações
internacionais. Dentre elas está a
família de munição 40 mm L/70
antiaérea, representada pelos
seguintes tipos: EX-T: munição de
exercício traçante;
AET-AD: munição de alto-explosivo
com traçante e autodestruição;
EX-AA: munição de exercício com
carga sinalizadora e espoleta de
proximidade;
PF-AE: munição de alto-explosivo
com espoleta de proximidade e
granada pré-fragmentada; e
3P: munição de alto-explosivo com
granada pré-fragmentada e espoleta
de proximidade programável. Os
cartuchos foram projetados para
emprego em canhões BOFORS, BOFI,
TRINITY, OTOBREDA e similares,
exceto o 3P, que é utilizado no
canhão 40 mm L/70 SAK 40/70 F.
A munição, mantida em sua
embalagem original e estocada em
condições controladas de temperatura
e umidade, possui uma expectativa de
vida útil superior a 10 anos.
EMGEPRON manufactures medium
and high caliber naval ammunition
in compliance with international
quality standards. One of them is
the 40 mm L/70 group, an antiaircraft ammunition, represented
by the following types: TP-T:
training tracer ammunition;
HE-T-SD: high explosive tracer
ammunition with self-destruction;
TP-AA: target practice with
proximity fuze ammunition;
PF-HE: high explosive prefragmented shell with proximity
fuze ammunition; and
3P: high explosive pre-fragmented
shell with proximity programmable
fuze ammunition. The ammunitions
were designed for use in BOFORS,
BOFI, TRINITY, OTOBREDA and
similar guns, except the 3P type,
suitable for the 40 mm L/70 SAK
40/70F gun.
The ammunition is well packed
for handling, transportation
and storage. When packed in its
original packing condition, under
proper storage environment, it´s
expected to have a shelf life of
ten years.
