Cotada em Bolsa (EURONEXT LISBON) desde Junho de 2007, a Martifer (MAR PL; MAR.LS) é um grupo industrial
que conta já com mais de 3 000 colaboradores e está presente em mais de 20 países. Em 2010, os seus proveitos
operacionais ascenderam a 602,1 milhões de euros.
A Martifer iniciou a sua actividade em 1990 no setor das estruturas metálicas, conquistando, em apenas 6 anos,
a liderança do mercado nacional. A partir de 1996 estendeu a sua atividade para novas soluções de construção,
estruturas em inox e alumínio, sempre estruturada na excelência da sua engenharia.
Atento às necessidades globais de novas soluções de energia, o Grupo inicia atividades no setor de energias renováveis,
inicialmente no fabrico de torres eólicas, aproveitando o know how e as sinergias com a área de estruturas metálicas.
Em 2006 o Grupo estende a sua actividade à área solar fotovoltaica, no desenvolvimento de instalações EPC
(Engineering, Procurement, Construction) e chave-na-mão e distribuição de módulos fotovoltaicos.
Com duas áreas de negócio (Construção Metálica e Solar) e 15 unidades industriais em funcionamento em todo
o mundo, a Martifer é hoje um grupo multinacional, com mais de 20 anos de experiência a construir sucessos.
Listed (EURONEXT LISBON) since June 2007, Martifer (MAR PL; MAR.LS) is an industrial group with more than
3,000 workers, present in more than 20 countries. In 2010 its operating revenue reached 602.1 million euros.
Martifer started its activity in 1990 in the steel structures´ sector, conquering the Portuguese market in only
6 years. Since 1996 the Group has extended its activity to new construction solutions, stainless steel and
aluminium structures, always based on the excellence of its engineering.
In response to the global need for new energy solutions, the Group begins its activity in the renewable energy
sector, initially with the manufacture of wind towers, taking advantage of the expertise and synergies with the
structural steelworks business unit.
In 2006 Martifer expands its activity to the PV solar sector, with the development of EPC (Engineering,
Procurement, Construction) and turnkey projects and the distribution of PV modules.
With two business areas (Metallic Constructions and Solar) and 15 industrial units operating all over the world,
Martifer is today a multinational group with more than 20 years of experience in building successes.

Integrado na área de Construção Metálica desde 2011, o segmento Eólico, Petróleo e Gás, tem capacidade para a execução de componentes
tanto onshore como offshore, complementando, desta forma, a atividade da Martifer Metallic Constructions.
Com duas fábricas em Portugal e uma nos Estados Unidos, tem uma capacidade de produção anual de 72 500 toneladas.

suportadas pela laje, não foi possível usar gruas para a montagem de uma parte da estrutura. Assim, os próprios pilares do aeroporto foram
usados como ferramenta de elevação. Para isso, foram usados guinchos, colocados nos topos dos pilares, que ergueram a estrutura da
cobertura. / The Málaga Airport is one of the best examples of Martifer’s creativity. Due to the live loads allowed on the slab, it was not
possible to use cranes to erect part of the roof structure. The solution was to use the airport’s columns as part of the erection equipment: using
winches on top of each column, the roof structure was lifted and put in place.
