Escola Profissional da Praia da Vitória (EPPV) is a private school which
carries out public interests and that is the property of Fundação de
Ensino Profissional da Praia da Vitória.
This foundation is a collective property without any lucrative goals and
ruled by its own statutes.

THE PRESENTATION
As an institution with credentials in vocational training, EPPV
seeks to contribute for the vocational training of local and regional
youth, the future qualified professionals of the Azores.
The school establishes a link between businessmen and the social
surrounding, in order to suit and modernize human resources and
develop in young people the awareness that a career is a permanent
search for improvement and professionalism.

The aims of EPPV
- To contribute to young people’s qualification as a whole and their appropriate
preparation for a qualified performance;
- To develop a closer relation between the Foundation and the economic, social
professional, associative and cultural institutions;
- To promote with other and regional agents and institutions the training
of qualified human resources able to satisfy the development of the municipality
of Praia da Vitória, of Terceira Island and of the Azores;
- To exchange educational services with the community;

- To analyze local and regional qualification needs and give the
adequate formative answers;
- To teach technical courses and vocational training;
- To render extra-curricula educational, namely to adults;
- To enable contact between the students and the working world and
professional experience, preparing the students for a proper social
and professional integration.
