The addition of Communications to the grouping reflects the fact that communications is
required to enable this coordination.
In modern warfare, computers are also a key component. The common variations of this
acronym are:

SHELTERS: PADRONIZAÇÃO NOS EUA
Nos EUA foi criado em 1975, dentro do DoD (Departament of
Defense), o JOCOTAS (JOint COmmittee on TActical Shelters).
Os principais Shelters (rigid wall / lights) padronizados são:
- S-250/G - para camionetes ( em desativação )
- S-280C/G - para Caminhões 5 TON
- S-788/G - para HUMVEE
Os modelos SS-832/G e SS-842/G são dimensionalmente iguais ao SS788/G porém com itens já integrados como Gerador de Energia,
Condicionador de Ar etc..
