"Culture is the essential tool for making other"
"( ☀⤀ the concept of culture operates much like its predecessor - race - even though in its twentieth-century form it has
some important political advantages."
Leila Abu-Lughod in Stop Writing Against Culture
This work presents the abrupt disappearance of several evidence, it reveals incoherences as paradoxes, questioning
whether it is things that produce sense or us who create sense from things. It reflects on contexts, their creation and
transfiguration artifices. A context is itself a framework, a cultural construction. When making archeology with people,
they are removed from their places, from where they were, and presented somewhere else - decontextualized and
recontextualized. We describe a context, we imagine it. When describing someone, we are building that person.Evidências
Suficientes para a Não Coerência do Mundo (Enough Evidence for the Non-Coherence of the World) is built of several
stories: the body and its monsters, portrait painting, costumes, the use of scenarios in front of which people used to let
themselves be captured and the building of social power relations, among others. A choreographic non-chronological
narrative, fictional yet with documentary contours is proposed.
Then we placed the following question: "If one never moves and everything around her/him changes, has she/he
changed?"
