The Honourable Mr. Bennett Mr. Bonner Mr. Black Mr. Sommers Mr. Gunderson Mr. Kiernan Mr. Chetrynd Mr. Wicks Mr. Martin Mr. Mr. To His Honour The Lieutenant-Governor in Council: The undersigned has the honour to REPORT: THAT certain motor-vehicles operated by members of the International Pacific Salmon Fisheries Commission with headquarters in the Dominion Building, New Westminster, B.C., were exempted from the payment of motor licence fees for the year 1953 upon payment of a fee of two dollars per motor-vehicle to cover the cost of the licence plates: THAT an application has been made by V. Burnett ing Department of the said Commission, for a similar respect of the motor-vehicles listed in the schedule operated by members and staff of the said Commission 1954: of the Purchasexemption in attached hereto for the year THAT it is deemed expedient to relax the strictness of the laws relating to the collection of revenue in respect of the licensing of the said motor-vehicles: AND TO RECOMMEND THAT pursuant to the provisions of section 44 of the "Revenue Act", chapter 291 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1948", the payment of the registration and motorlicence fees in respect of the motor-vehicles listed in the schedule attached hereto for the year 1954 be remitted and that a motorvehicle licence and plates be issued for each of the said motorvehicles upon payment of a fee of two dollarsin respect of each motor-vehicle. AND THAT a certified copy of this Minute, if approved, be forwarded to the Superintendent of Motor-vehicles, Victoria, B. C. DATED this 5" it day of A.D. 1954 Attrney- eral.
