FEE PAYMENT STRUCTURE
The following payment options are available:
Plan 1 the entire fee is paid in full by the 1st of September each year. This plan grants a 5% discount off the
school fees.
Plan 2 each instalment must be paid before the start of each term. There are 3 terms in a school year.
Plan 3 fees paid in 10 monthly instalments, to be paid by direct debit on the 1st working day of the month.

A seguintes opções estão disponíveis:
1. Plano 1 nesta opção as propinas deverão ser integralmente pagas até ao dia 1 de Septembro de cada
ano lectivo. Este plano beneficia de um desconto de 5% no valor das propinas.
2. Plano 2 é o plano considera três pagamentos, um por período. O pagamento deverá ser efectuado
antes do inicio de cada período.
3. Plano 3 Nesta opção o pagamento é feito em 10 pagamentos mensais, pagos por transferência bancária
efectuada no primeiro dia útil de cada mês.


Siblings’ discount policy
Siblings registered at KSI Algarve benefit from a discount in tuition fees. The sibling discount is noncumulative with other discounts. First sibling 4% discount, second sibling 6% discount and three or
more siblings receive a 8% discount. The siblings’ policy is revised annually, changes may apply.

O irmão ou irmãos que se inscrevam no KSI Algarve terão um desconto nas propinas. Este desconto
não é acumulável com outros descontos em vigor á data da inscrição. O desconto será aplicável
apenas os irmãos. Primeiro irmão beneficia de um desconto no valor das propinas de 4%, o segundo
irmão 6% e terceiro e seguintes 8% . A política de descontos de irmãos é revista anualmente, podendo
vir a sofrer alterações.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE & REGULATIONS:
This agreement must be fully completed and signed upon enrolment of the student.
• The student will be allowed to commence school once the invoiced tuition fee and registration fee has
been received.
• If fees are overdue, the school will charge €5 per day late payment fee. If outstanding fees exceed 10
school days, the student will not be permitted to attend school.
• If a student enrols after the start of the school year, tuition is pro-rated based on the entry date,
e.g. #days/180 x annual tuition fees.
• Notice Period for withdrawal: A full school term’s notice in accordance with school timetable, must be
given to the School in writing for any student wishing to withdraw from the School. Fees will be
payable to the end of the Notice Period.
• At the end of the school year outstanding fees will be forwarded to a solicitor engaged to collect the
remaining fees. School records and student work will not be handed out until fees are paid in full.
• School fees are subject to change every year. An increase in the school fee is applicable to every student
being enrolled or already enrolled at the Knightsbridge School International Algarve. School fees will
increase on an annual basis to ensure that they remain in line with the school’s increasing costs.
• The next academic school year’s fees will be made available by the 30 April of the current school year.
• If a company is responsible for funding the child’s education, the parent understands that the ultimate
financial obligation, including late fees or any bank charges associated with payment of school fees,
rests with the parent, should the company fail to pay the necessary fees.
PROCEDIMENTOS & REGULAMENTO DE PAGAMENTO
Este acordo tem que ser integralmente preenchido e assinado no ato da matricula do aluno.
• O aluno poderá iniciar a frequência das aulas assim que a taxa de inscrição e o valor das propinas devido
tenham sido liquidados.
• Se o pagamento das propinas estiver atrasado, o colégio reserva-se o direito de cobrar 5€ por cada dia de
atraso. Se o atraso ultrapassar 10 dias úteis, o aluno ficará impossibilitado de frequentar as aulas.
• Sempre que o aluno se inscreva após o início do ano lectivo, as propinas serão calculadas pro-rata com
base na data de admissão. ex. #dias/ 180 x valor anual das propinas.
• Período de aviso prévio de saída do aluno: No caso de o aluno pretender deixar a escola, o encarregado
de educação deverá informar a escola por escrito com a antecedência mínima de um período escolar
completo. As propinas serão pagas até ao fim do período de aviso prévio.
• No final do ano lectivo propinas em divida serão cobradas coercivamente. A informação do aluno e
trabalhos não serão entregues até que os valores em divida sejam liquidados na totalidade.
• O valor das propinas será objecto de uma atualização anual. O aumento das propinas é aplicável a todos
os alunos inscritos na Knightsbridge School International Algarve. As propinas escolares aumentarão
anualmente, por forma a assegurar que a evolução da propinas está alinhada com o aumento dos custos
do colégio.
• O valor anual das propinas do ano lectivo subsequente será disponibilizado até 30 de Abril do corrente
ano lectivo.
• Na eventualidade de ser uma empresa a encarregar-se do pagamento da educação do aluno, em caso de
incumprimento, a responsabilidade pelo pagamento das propinas e encargos bancários associados, cabe,
em ultima instancia ao encarregado de educação.

CATERING FEES / ALIMENTAÇÃO
Meals are provided to children and charged as a monthly fee. Catering fees will be invoiced to reflect your
tuition payment plan (annually, termly, monthly). All students are charged for lunch-time meals with an
afternoon snack optional to students in Years 1– 6.
As refeições são fornecidas e são cobradas como uma mensalidade. Os custos de alimentação serão
faturados de acordo com o plano de pagamento selecionado, anual, por periodo ou mensal. A todos os
estudantes será cobrado o almoço, sendo o lanche da tarde opcional para os alunos a partir do Year 1.
