Dear Participants from all over the world,
With great pleasure, emotion but above all with friendship, I bring to all
participants the official welcome of the ISF Gymnasiade 2013.
Gymnasiade is the most important and noble event of the ISF, where the
technical values of the competitors are of the highest technical level, but where
the educational component of the school sport must always be a priority in
every behavior of all actors of this wonderful sporting event.
Gymnasiade is a wonderful event, but this year will be even more of a
memorable experience because is done in Brazil. The socialization among all
the participants of the countries present here, and specially with those
Brazilians, represent a teaching unique to each of them.
To all the members of the delegations present, in particular to the
students I wish the best sporting satisfaction, experiences of intelligent fun, and
I recommend to everyone to behave educated, and respectful of the principal
value of sport and ISF: the fair play.

Desporto Escolar - CBDE received the “GYMNASÍADE” and would like to
welcome all of you to our country and wish you all the best during this event.
All our joint team efforts aimed to provide the best technical conditions for
a high level competition and the necessary comfort for all delegations, so that
they can thrive to achieve their best performance.
We all agree that school sports are the beginning of many great players
of the future but even more so, it is a way of exchanging experiences between
cultures, races, languages and so on. With that thought in mind we hope and

 Every delegation must select 10 athletes to participate in the Opening
Ceremony Parade.
 Transportation will leave the hotel where the delegation is lodged at
2:00pm.
 The absence of any member of a participating delegation from any part
of the entire sport programme, opening, prize-giving and closing
ceremonies and socio-cultural programme may result in being excluded
from the results.

Every athlete or Head of Delegation will have 4 bottles of water to consume at
the hotel. These bottles will be available to be taken at the Convention Center.
General Informations:
 The use of the accreditation cards are mandatory and inalienable and
access won’t be granted under any circunstances without the
presentation of this credentials, these credentials are of great importance
for your identification.
 Sanitization Alcohol will be available for all participants for hygene
purposes.
 Access is prohibited at the meal venues wearing bathing suits, shirtless
or with clothings that are not suitable.
Important Care Information:
 Brasilia has a dry climate. The consumption of fluids is very importante to
all participants throughout the day to avoid any health issues.
 Pay attention to the consumption of local food in venues aside from the
competition oficial venues.
 Wash your hands properly before every meal in order to avoid
contamination.
