All Reading books and reading records must be returned to school next week. They will be kept in school until
September when they will go out again.
Please have a good search at home, do you have any reading books that should be returned to school? Please send
them into school, it doesn't matter how long you've had them just that we get them back.

Wellies and Raincoats.
Do you have wellies and raincoats that your children have grown out of? Please send them into school. We
aim to make the most of the fantastic outdoors and promote learning both inside and outside. Weather does
not stop us from learning. There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes.
Please send us your wellies and raincoats.
Water Bottles in September
As we encourage all our children to drink water during the school day, each child will be issued
with a new Abbey logo water bottle when they return in September.
Remember if you need to replace this bottle or lid they can be purchased from the school office at a
cost of £1 for a bottle or 50p for a lid.
Message from Mrs Pawley
Your child will be bringing home a travel survey today from school. This will help to monitor
walking to school across Birmingham. It would be greatly appreciated if you could complete this
and send it back to school with your child by Friday 15th July.
