Title: Difference in adult food group intake by sex and age groups comparing
Brazil and United States nationwide surveys
Reviewer: Jean-Claude Moubarac
Reviewer's report:
Comment: The authors did not change the term "highly-processed" (line 291), even if
they claim so. It must be change for "ultra-processed". Also, consider adding the
following references, which show ultra-processed trends, and links ultra-processed food
to obesity, in Brazil:
Martins APB, Levy RB, Claro RC, Moubarac J-C, Monteiro CA. A participação
crescente de produtos ultra-processados na dieta brasileira (1987-2009). Revista
de Saude Publica 2014; 47(4): 656-65.

households (2008-2009). PLoS One 2014 Mar 25;9(3):e92752. doi:

Answer: We appreciate the careful review. We corrected the mistake and now we
changed the term "highly-processed" for "ultra-processed".
As suggested, we added the references above.
