Call for Exchange Program (Spring 2012): Escola de Administração da UFPR & San Diego State University (SDSU) Processo de Seleção dos Estudantes na UFPR Condições: 1) Verifique a sua elegibilidade (conforme descrição abaixo); 2) Ter cursado pelo menos 4 períodos letivos na UFPR (até Dezembro de 2011). No caso de alunos transferidos, exigem-se ao menos 2 semestres cursados na UFPR; 3) Tenham Índice de Desempenho Escolar igual ou maior que 7,0; 4) Não possuam reprovação no histórico escolar da UFPR; 5) Pontuação mínima no TOEFL: 213 ( Comp.-based); 80 ( Internet-based); 550 ( Paperbased) Data da Seleção: 5ª Feira (06/10/2011) – Hor.: 10:00hs – Local: Sala dos Professores no DAGA/UFPR Trazer: Currículo (1 página), Histórico com IRA, Plano de Estudos (intenção) sobre aquilo que deseja estudar na SDSU, 1 carta de recomendação de um professor da UFPR. Application for International Exchange Students (Após Seleção na UFPR) Upcoming spring (January 2012) term at San Diego State University (SDSU on-line): http://www.isc.sdsu.edu/prospective/iwant_exchangeSpring.html SDSU Eligibility - Admission to San Diego State University 1) Academic Requirements: Exchange students must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) equivalent to at least 2.5, if they are undergraduates, and a 3.0, if they are graduate students, based on a 4.0 scale. All students must have the approval of their department of study at their home institutions in order to participate in an exchange. 2) Financial Requirements: As an exchange program participant, you will not have to pay SDSU registration fees and/or non-resident tuition. You will be required to submit a financial statement verifying that you have at least $16,900 available for one academic year (two semesters), or $8,450 for one academic semester to cover the following estimated costs: Registration Fees: paid by exchange program Tuition: paid by exchange program Books & Supplies: $783 per semester Health Insurance: $428 per semester Food & Housing: $5,633 per semester Personal Expenses: $1,270 per semester 3) English Proficiency Requirements: SDSU requires that all applicants demonstrate satisfactory proficiency in English. All applicants who have not attended secondary or postsecondary educational institutions where English is the principle language of instruction for at least three years of full-time transferable level enrollment (12-15 transferable units per semester), must submit either an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 or higher or a paper-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 or higher or computer-based TOEFL of 213 or higher or a score of 80 or higher on an iBT(internet based test) TOEFL. The TOEFL score must be obtained within two years prior to application to SDSU. Participants who do not meet the 550 TOEFL standard are not eligible to participate in the Exchange. They may wish to enroll in a fee-based Intensive English Program with SDSU's American Language Institute.
