Visiting Scientist, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Department of Defense, 2001 RESEARCH FOCUS I was one of the first scientists to integrate neuroscience and economics into a new discipline, neuroeconomics. My research has identified the brain processes that support virtuous behaviors such as trustworthiness, generosity, and sacrifice, as well as their absence that leads to evil, vice and conflict. I use these results to increase flourishing by individuals, organizations and societies.
