RESEARCH FOCUS
I was one of the first scientists to integrate neuroscience and economics
into a new discipline, neuroeconomics. My research has identified the
brain processes that support virtuous behaviors such as trustworthiness,
generosity, and sacrifice, as well as their absence that leads to evil, vice
and conflict. I use these results to increase flourishing by individuals,
organizations and societies.
