An Overview of Fortaleza
Fortaleza is the state capital of Ceará, located in Northeastern Brazil.

The Port
Localization
The Port of Fortaleza is located in Mucuripe Bay, in the municipality of Fortaleza, Ceará state, in the
Northeast Region of Brazil. It is limited to the North and East by the Atlantic Ocean, with the city of
Fortaleza to the south and west, the port area being surrounded by urban infrastructure.The Port of

Beaches.

Morro Branco and Praia das Fontes (87km): are two star Beberibe, the major tourist attractions of

Forte de Fortaleza
The old Mucuripe Lighthouse was built in Baroque style, between the years 1840 to 1846, by slaves.
Construction of masonry, wood and iron. It represents one of the oldest buildings in Fortaleza. Long been
