CABOT AEROGEL PRODUCTS*
As of the date of this statement, Cabot Corporation’s aerogel products have not been tested for
cosmetic purposes.
Cabot’s aerogel product(s) has been tested on animals, with the latest test date being August 2003; a
skin sensitization in the guinea pig (Buehler Method) was performed. For additional information
regarding toxicology testing, please see section 11 of the product’s material safety data sheet (MSDS).
Cabot has and will perform animal testing when required by law and/or when it is necessary to protect
the health of our employees and customers.
