- Pra começar, ao sair do aeroporto (CDGaulle) há ônibus da Air France q podem te deixar perto do teu
hotel, verifique (taxi é caríssimo; o bus entre os terminais é free e os pra cidade acho q custam uns 14E.
A viagem demora mais de meia-hora).
- veja se há Monoprix ou Casino ou qq supermercado pra armazenar água, suco de laranja (no bar é 2 a
3E a garrafinha e frutas são carésimas...), chocolates (hum, os suiços saem a 2-3E o tablete),
pão/vinho/queijos, enfim, a “boquinha” de fim de noite e a sobrevivência diurna (sanduba de atum ou
queijos, nas boulangeries sai uns 4-5E. Vale a pena experimentar a PAUL, presente desde a Champs
Elysée até nos metrôs, tradicional e maravilhosa: a èclair – nossa bomba de chocolate – é divina e com
uma pizza, pagarás uns 5E)
- Metro: compre bilhetes-reserva pra estações que só tenham máquinas e GUARDE O COMPROVANTE
após passar na catraca. Sempre há guardas que te param (a todos) e o pedem nas saídas mais
improváveis
- Perto do Georges Pompidou: Flunch, menus a 7-10E estilo “self-service” (21 rue Beaubourg esq. rue
Rambuteau)
- Quando fores agradecer a vida na NotreDame, ande pela lateral até a Rue St Louis, uma gracinha, com
bistrôs e lojinhas legais
- os banheiros são pagos (moedas ou jeton dado se tomas café lá), se deres sorte, entre num
restaurante ou Mac Donalds lotado e procure escadas descendo – elas sempre acabam em sanitários com
muito movimento! Mas há tbém cabines-free nas ruas

- Here's another recommendation for the Porte des Lions entrance. Few know about it or use it, so there
is never a line. From this entrance, you're very close to the Mona Lisa, so if you arrive at opening time,
you'll get there before all those using more distant entrances. This entrance also has a checkroom. When
you want to leave, it's usually a shorter walk outdoors (if you need to return for checked items) than
back through the museum.

If you want your gondolier to sing while cruising along the canals then you should state this right at the
beginning. Do not leave it up to him to decide as your price will vary drastically depending upon if there
is singing involved.
The average gondola ride lasts 40 minutes. Make absolutely sure you agree upon the price and the
duration of the trip before you step into the boat, write it down, and go by your watch (strangely, the
gondoliers' often run fast).
Venice's gondolas and gondoliers are regulated by the Ente Gondola (tel. +39-041-528-5075 +39-041528-5075; www.gondolavenezia.it), so call if you have any questions or complaints.
All gondaliers will want to row you in a big circle back to where you boarded. If you want to end up
elsewhere, insist upon it—firmly but politely.

Making the Most of Your Time
With some planning, you can see Florence's most famous sights in a couple of days. Start off at the city's
most awe-inspiring work of architecture, the Duomo, climbing to the top of the dome if you have the
stamina. On the same piazza, check out Ghiberti's bronze doors at the Battistero. (They're actually
high-quality copies; the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo has the originals.) Set aside the afternoon for the
Galleria degli Uffizi, making sure to reserve tickets in advance.
On Day Two, visit Michelangelo's David in the Galleria dell'Accademia —reserve tickets here, too.
Linger in the Piazza della Signoria, Florence's central square, where a copy of David stands in the spot
the original occupied for centuries, then head east a couple of blocks to Santa Croce, the city's most
artistically rich church. Double back and walk across Florence's landmark bridge, the Ponte Vecchio.
Do all that, and you'll have seen some great art, but you've just scratched the surface. If you have more
time, put the Bargello, the Museo di San Marco, and the Cappelle Medicee at the top of your list.
When you're ready for an art break, stroll through the Boboli Gardens or explore Florence's lively
shopping scene, from the food stalls of the Mercato Centrale to the chic boutiques of the Via
Tornabuoni.

To avoid the lines go to the Forum/Palantine Hill entrance (to the right of the Coliseum and up the hill a
bit - not far) and buy your tickets there. Same price - no line. Just a tidbit we picked up from our private
guide. And no "reserved time" either. Then back over to the Coliseum and walk right by all the people in
line

The Palatine Hill is one of the seven Hills of Rome and is one of the most ancient parts of the city. It
stands above the Roman Forum. The entrance is just south of the Colosseum on the on Via di San
Gregorio, 30.
The whole hill is a large open air museum and you can descend directly down into the Roman Forum.
Visiting the Roman Colosseum is tops on the list of must see Ancient Rome
Sites(http://goitaly.about.com/od/romeitaly/tp/ancientrome.htm), but the ticket lines can be long and
nobody wants to spend their vacation waiting in line. There are several ways to avoid the ticket lines.
· Buy a combination ticket for the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum at the nearby entrance to
the Palatine Hill. The combination ticket is good for two days so you don't have to get to all three sites in
one day.
· Buy your Rome Colosseum ticket online. Now you can even print out your ticket when you buy it from
Tickets Online (http://www.ticketclic.it/Gb/index.cfm).
· Buy a Roma Pass or Archeologia Card (http://goitaly.about.com/od/romeitaly/qt/rome_pass.htm). In
order to avoid the Colosseum ticket line, you'll need to buy the pass or card before you go to the
Colosseum. If you buy a Roma Pass, be sure to go to the Colosseum as one of your first two sites (the
first two are free).

A Pont d’Iéna tem o nome de uma vitória de Napoleão em 1806. As laterais são decoradas com águias
napoleônicas.
Arc du Carrousel
O arco foi encomendado por Napoleão como portal para o seu palácio. Ele depois quis um arco maior,
que acabaria sendo o Arco do Triunfo. No alto do Arc du Carrousel, Napoleão pôs os 4 cavalos da praça
de São Marcos, de Veneza, que ele havia confiscado. Eles foram substituídos por cópias quando os
venezianos reclamaram sua devolução.
La Madeleine
A igreja foi originalmente encomendada por Napoleão como um templo à fama, mas ele mudou de idéia e
converteu a construção numa igreja. Dentro há uma interessante pintura no teto, com santos famosos
como São Luis e Joana D’Arc. O próprio Napoleão está representado, vestindo uma capa de cor
mostarda, na parte inferior da pintura.
Opéra
A Opéra é um dos edifícios mais extravagantes de Paris. Projetado por Charles Garnier para o imperador
Napoleão III em meados do século 19. As obras foram dificultadas pela descoberta de água no subsolo.
Durante 1 ano foi feito um bombeamento 24 horas por dia, mas não adiantou, por isso a Opéra fica sobre
um tanque artificial de água projetado por Garnier para impedir que a água se infiltrasse nos alicerces.

Depois de entrar, ver a escadaria (não pode descer, é a saída!).
- Pinacoteca: Tríptico Stefaneschi de Giotto, A Transfiguração de Rafael, São Gerônimo no deserto de
Leonardo da Vinci, Deposição de Caravaggio.
- Pátio da Pinha: saia da Pinacoteca e volte ao patamar da entrada. Vire à esquerda e siga até o Pátio da
Pinha. Atravesse o pátio em linha reta. Suba as escadas à sua esquerda. Vc agora está entrando nas
antigas galerias. Vire à esquerda e entre no pátio do Belvedere.
Nos 4 nichos: Apollo Belvedere, Perseu, Hermes e Laocoonte.
- Ver onde é o Borgia Apartment e incluir no roteiro.
- Continue pela Sala dos Animais e pelo piso de um aviário romano, até as Salas das Musas, a Sala da
Rotunda e a Sala da Cruz Grega. O Belvedere Torso fica dentro da Sala das Musas.
- Suba até o andar de cima e cruze o Salão dos Candelabros, o Salão das Tapeçarias e o Salão dos
Mapas. O Salão dos Candelabros mostra a vastidão do acervo do Vaticano, procure o dedão do pé
embaixo do primeiro castiçal à sua direita.
- Bem no final do corredor, vire à esquerda na Sala Sobieski e continue pela Sala Imaculada Conceição,
em volta do corredor externo, até a extremidade mais distante das Salas de Rafael. A Sala do Selo Papal
abriga a que é considerada a maior obra-prima de Rafael, A Escola de Atenas.
- Saia das Salas de Rafael. Siga as placas até a Capela Sistina.
- Deixe a Capela pela saída dos fundos, à direita, que o levará até a igreja de São Pedro.
